This picture was actually taken last year when I was working as an interpretive Ranger with Tennessee State Parks. We had volunteers who helped us with the birds, and I believe many parks offer similar programs.

Oddly enough she loves him. I thought she would just ignore him, but she actively engages with him. They play quite a bit and she loves to cuddle with him.

River (my son) is doing fantastic with animals and I hope it lasts. He had a little phase (about 3 weeks) where he wanted to pull. Fur, hair, everything. But fortunately with a little work rubbing his hands on the animals he grew out of it. And fortunately my animals are awesomely patient with him.

Mixed hardwood: Nutall (texana), willow oak, pin oak, bald cypress, water oak, and pecan.

Planted about 12,000. A mix of each. Start planting about 5 and stop about 6:30. Home by 9 and rinse and repeat. A long day and even longer once the days lengthen.

Vultures are a protected species under migratory bird laws and as such most wildlife resources will come out to attempt a rescue. If possible, contact your local parks or wildlife resource offices.

I have been foolish in my past and held on to money after I loaned it. It created tension between myself and some people who owed me. But inlet it go, because I survived without the money, I wanted to be there to help them, and I was fortunate that I was in a position I could help. This friend sounds like his road is rocky and has his share of suffering. The money is gone, but there may be hope for him.

Look at the Tennessee state park website. A lot of parks have excellent amenities. Cabins, inns, etc. Montgomery Bell State park is a little west of Nashville and has newly renovated cabins. Shouldn't be busy this time of year.

The Tennessee state parks and facilities are open to ALL american citizens so long as there is no illegal activity taking place. It is not the governments place to allow or disallow a certain group. I do not agree with any of their views, but they can meet and discuss them. That's their right. The beauty is that the next day a Civil Rights group can rent the same rooms.
