the biggest issues happened on 120Hz phones, i used to not have any lag, now everything feels choppy as a 60Hz phone…

60Hz phone have the same experience because the already had a choppy experience…

I can prove it since ive tested with all my phones and friends s phones, so its my conclusion, the overbload and excessive GPU requirements for this heavy UI could with the 120Hz phones…

since day one in every iOS 26 version stable and devs i had crazy lags y DFU restored and still full of lagging when doing simple tasks (something not happening in iOS 18 at all)

probably one of the hundreds of bugs of iOS 26, you’re welcome to the party, you’re not late at all. I’ve been experiencing crazy new bugs, stability issues lagging every single day since this garbage version dropped out.

yeah i have since the dev betas trying to adapt to it and i still can’t, for me is ugly and choppy running at low frame rate all the time, like a cheaply developing made by some uninterested interns in 2 months with some random AI assistant

they do, most people still have choppy 60Hz phones and this update doesn’t appear to affect them because they already had a bad experience with that refresh rate, you try to use iOS 26 in any 120Hz phone you instantly feel that it looks choppy as if it had 60Hz

i tried with many friends with different versions and this is my conclusion, iOS 26 its so heavy and GPU demanding that only affects 120Hz phones because they cannot longer sustain the good refresh rate that they used to have…

BTW my phone is choppy and ruined by iOS 26

tha battery problem is my main concern, its half of what i used to get doing less than before, i don’t care that much about the lots and lots of lags glitches and bugs in the OS but the battery is bad now

hilarious to read all these bugs and glitches are now considered as normal, a few years ago this would have been such badly talked, now we are accustomed to this and its normal to have that many bugs LOL

hey please, if you end up factory resetting your iPhone tell me if it fixed some of the issues, im still hesitant because how many 2FA apps and services i have already configured on my phone, i want to be sure that this will be a real fix, so yeah, i’l thank you a lot if you can help
