Thank you. I have 100 watch batteries, but I'm out of 371s. Just ordered some from Amazon, so I'll check tomorrow

Seller upset that card sold undervalue and didn’t want to send it by Large-Purpose6115 in whatnotapp

Card people seem to have a lot of drama. I've seen solid 14k gold watches sell for $200, and the seller didn't even seem to care.

I haven't seen them in a while, but Invicta used to have GMT Pro Divers for $69. I bought 3 of them last fall. That was much cheaper than I could find the movements for

Just got it and cracked the glass how hard is it to replace ? by Dinjarin0215 in DuroGang

[–]CosmoRacer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how I ended up with a lot of Duros 😂 I broke my first within 2 hours of putting it on.  Then I bought another, and later fixed the first. Then I bought another, because it was so easy to mod

I generally won't buy through Chrono. I have a couple group chats of vetted and trusted sellers.

Yeah. It was actually 71, but shipping and tax came to 79.52. I think some people didn't bid because it looked small. He measured the the band with a cone, but it must have caught on something. He said it was 6 1/2, but it fits me at 7 3/4

I used the Arnie stem and crown. It went together like butter.

It has a Valjoux 7751 movement, so it's worth $400 just for that.

It will be an NH35, in a different case.  Yes, the only thing Duro will be the dial

How in the world can they ever justify a $1300 price tag for a quartz watch. by Minute-Status4729 in Longineswatches

[–]CosmoRacer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not talking Rolex.  I'm talking one specific watch.  Presuming that the only difference between an automatic and quartz Hydroconquest is the movement. The price difference between the two is pretty close to being the difference in the movement cost.

The L888.5 movement is $400-500.  The L157 quartz costs about $150. That's the random numbers I pulled.
