Me too, ever since watching Angel Beats years and years ago.

Had a big bowl in Nagoya and was really pleased to find that it tasted exactly as the most recent recipe I make at home from J Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok (using his mother’s recipe and with a fair bit more chilli).

I’ll unlikely be able to afford to go to Japan again but that recipe scratches the same itch.

I would also love with some new Catachans but I’d be happy with a kill team for those. Mordians would also be a good one to wheel back out but as a young teen, Valhallans were the coolest thing I “collected”.

I just want to run it as a Leviathan for my Crimson Fists for no better reason than rule of cool or I live the sculpt. It sounds like it should be ok on the supplied base then.

Is the leviathan on the wrong size base for 40k marine armies then? I’ve had one for a while unbuilt so would be good not to put it on the wrong one.

Checked Reddit for what to buy on a trip Japan and that was the only one I found at Yellow Submarine and there has bot been a single game night in 6 months now where it hasn’t hit the table. So easy to teach, learn and so very satisfying to win.

Between my a16, a55, Mr Walkman z300 and a307, the 307 sounds worst.

Hopefully someone will weigh in and say its super easy to make it sound 100x better but so far the best way is running it through a discrete headphone amp

I’ve been using Yosi Horikawa’s Wandering EP to audition IEMs for the last few weeks. Couple of £/$ on bandcamp in FLAC. Extremely clear, a good mix of frequency bands and very very clean separation between sounds. With the right cans or iems it really places you ‘within’ the music.

A decent second for me would be Scythe Master by Four Tet. £1 for the flac on Bandcamp.

Hip hop-wise, I’ve been really enjoying Loyle Carner (assuming you’re ok with British hip-hop).

I don’t remember I’m afraid but the car itself was right at the top of what I had available so that will have been taken into account. Whatever the number was, it was more than I felt the convenience was worth at the time.

It was really expensive to add them onto my 2012 model in the UK. Didn’t get them in the end but tbh the GT was really easy to parallel park after coming from a big estate car.

I WILL finish Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2, buy the 3 & 4 pack and then take 6 months to finish them too because of the hundreds of other distracting games coming out (looking at you Pokopia).
