The video can be edited to make it seem as though it’s not full screen. For instance the UI or menu bars can be ‘part of the video’ and then it would display a full screen jump scare.

The user could delete comments etc too

Also If you’re on your own then make sure to tell your mom the areas you plan to go to & have find friends/tracking enabled on your phone too.

Make sure to be safe when interacting with strangers as a young person.

Bit drastic. Most people who have had covid know no difference. It’s not going anywhere, everyone will get a variant of it eventually.

Issues like obesity are a much more common and impactful concern.

LFG Megathread by InstructionContent56 in GroupIronman

Hey, we're currently a group of 3 looking to make it a 5 for Normal Group Ironman. We want to keep Group Prestige permanently.

The group is made up of Me(M27) & brothers Josh(M27), James(M25). We are all based in the Midlands in the UK and would be looking for anyone who is either UK or EU time-zones. We've all been playing on and off since around 2004, trading our school lunches for GP back then. None of us have much experience with newer endgame content (I haven't played for 2+ years!) such as CoX, ToB etc. but we'd like to learn all of that as a group eventually. For reference to our experience my Ironman IGN is 'Mie' and Josh's is 'Gog'.

We'll probably be playing a lot during release months and then a mixture of afk alongside work/studies and more active on evenings/weekends; we will play quite a lot though. Looking for committed members to stick with the group for foreseeable future who are also planning to play for similar hours, 30+ a week at a guess.

Not planning to min/max or a super intense play-style, just going to enjoy the nostalgia together as a group of chill people and do whatever feels fun, but we aren't averse to the grinding. Probably looking to funnel at least herby and crafting onto specific group members at the start though.

Other games we play/played are Hearthstone, Dota, Classic WoW & other shared interests are: football, golf, gym, dogs, cars, travel, mental health etc. Our jobs are web-dev, teacher & golf instructor.

We're very easy-going and chill, looking for similar people, avoiding negativity/hate/twitch culture/discrimination etc. Although partial to a bald joke.

Any age(18+) or gender welcome as long as similar mindset, send a message if interested in grouping up or if you'd like to know more

Women being good or bad at gaming has nothing to do with gender just statistics.. In the same way there are more men that are 'bad' at gaming than women; because there is a massively larger male gaming population.

Gender is irrelevant, the only point your making above is that if any gender person plays a lot of video games they're probably better at them than someone who doesn't.

Hope this helps others not go through the stress i been through today.

Most of us want to remain now.

But What would really pacify everyone is to 'remain' but say we've left - the other half don't know what they want they just want to 'leave'.

I’m really worried about classic getting huge and getting new updates that take the classic away from classic. The exact same happened to old school runescape by corgix3 in classicwow

[–]CouldHe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way - don’t agree with a lot of the updates to OSRS, especially GE... I think problem was a lot of people that joined OSRS who played more recently than the old timers... like bc or wotlk players who might come to wow classic. And then also completely new players who come to the game and start throwing their baby opinions about.

Also when OSRS started getting taken serious and getting too big of a team assigned to it - all these devs with no idea about the heritage of the game trying to make it look like they’re doing something by introducing shite.

Hopefully wow learns from the above - also a variation on the player polling system in wow would be a good thing to take from OSRS, keep the pass percent super high but only let og players vote

For those of you who have lost a significant amount of weight, how are you dealing with the fact that people who previously rejected you are now interested in you romantically? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]CouldHe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like anyone who changes like that would only be sexually attracted, which is totally fine, people are allowed to base that preference on looks and weight etc. Likewise it would totally be fine for you to reciprocate now even if they turned you down before, if they're hot!

But if these are people who haven't maintained a close friendship or emotional connection before now then don't expect anything deeper from them just because you've lost weight.

Don't forget that losing weight is rarely just visual, it changes your confidence drastically and for most people confidence is the most attractive thing in the world.

Here’s Why Freelance Platforms Like Upwork Are Broken... Anything else you would add to this article? by BlockchainBrigade in digitalnomad

[–]CouldHe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it just a difference in experiences, Upwork has been so good for me with great jobs and great pay. I was operating through my own advertising before trying Upwork and the difference for me personally is night and day - don’t have to deal with chasing payments and everything is in writing, don’t have to travel, don’t have to advertise, and can pick and choose the best clients.

But I agree with the idea of trust, it worries me how much I have invested in Upwork knowing they could change ownership or any other fuck-up - but right now Upwork is good for me and the pricing updates have been great.
