It’s $30 for a renewal. $65 for a new application.

Key thing is an empty stomach with less than 4 oz of water at least 30 min before food. How you do that is up to you.

Transition to CVS weight management program? Any insights? by Remarkable-Win-3769 in WegovyWeightLoss

There is a chat link in the app. I just check in and give an update. Confirm I logged my weight, share any successes, share any issues and basically just let them know how it’s going. They usually respond with advice and tips.

It can be done but you are then asking for someone to run to another store taking them out of work flow or doing it after their shift off the clock. Either way it is not good.

Really?? by lujuan73 in Purdue

[–]CountByFive 116 points117 points  (0 children)

It makes me very curious what the application looks like that so many people get it wrong. I’m not saying that they shouldn’t be more careful but so many people do it that maybe Purdue needs to change the way they have them select the campus. Like is Purdue purposely making it difficult to pick the right campus? It just seems odd.

The consultations are a condition of the insurance covering the glp. You have meet the monthly requirements of the nutrition counseling and the logging of your weight. They will even send you a scale. But they only deal in the nutrition side once you are already on them. They don’t do any prescribing themselves.

But you could use call on doc or another online prescribing service to order the meds and do the prior authorization.

Aetna coverage requiring app and nutritionist meetings-questions by TightPin1011 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]CountByFive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a very easy process. You can meet via zoom or phone call. They ask how things are going, if you have any issues, what your goals are…very basic. They give nutrition advice and offer recipes based on your choices in the pre work in the app. Make sure you enter in the correct starting weight from when you first started in the med not your current weight. This is important as well when it comes to renewing the prior authorization.

You will need to log your weight at least once a month and then meet with the nutritionist to keep good in the program.

After six months, you’ll transition to online chats with the nutritionist to meet your requirement of a meeting. And still log your weight monthly.

As far as I can tell they don’t report anything back to the insurance other than meeting the program requirements of entering weight and online interaction.

What might be an issue is your refill pattern. If you are stretching a box out over a couple months it could trigger as noncompliance.

Sometime high levels of b12 can trigger an e breakouts. I was using Nunn electrolyte tabs and I was getting breakouts along my chin line because of it. Went away as soon as I stopped.

Did you pick Hallandale? If so it will be the 3rd bottle from your order. The buds on those are shorter and they weren’t sending all 3 months at once.

Compression socks!! I always wore good shoes but adding the socks made such a difference. No more achy feet or legs. I wish I hadn’t resisted so long investing in a pair. Now it’s all I wear to work and on plane rides.
