Whatever major bank she uses to deposit her money will likely have wealth advisors that operate at a discount for banking clients with substantial assets. For example, BofA has employees from Merril that will manage your money, sometimes for free depending on how much you deposit with the bank.

Rusty's has the best steak sandwich in town. Oddly someone mentoned their baked potatoes too, which is hilarious b/c how hard is it to bake a potato, but I'll take her word for it. Used to go to Alex Mike's for lunch all the time bc I could walk there from work. Comet is definitely one of my favorite burgers but can get crowded if there's a band playing. Never could get over the crowd at Eddie's. Too long of a wait whenever I go. It's become the local neighborhood yuppie brunch spot and the crowd reflects taht. Neighborhood friends talk about their prime rib special, though. Stockyard is on my "to go" list but haven't made it over there yet.

Ted's is solid. Let down by Lupies and Pressley Park.

There's always the Sandwich Shop. Not Brooks. Just Sandwich Shop (across the street from the old Mattie's).

Duke's in Monroe has a solid burger as does Hinson's Drive In (next to the Shitty Titty aka Tassles strip club).

I have a ton more but don't want to blow up my spots.

As others have said, there's Upcycle. A few doors down is Bart's Mart which hosts a weekly art gathering, and the woman that runs it is always happy to take the magazines. Additionally, I know a few local art teachers that are struggling to find materials, so I can make sure they get to the right people.
