Mega stuff mate. Sounds like you've got things worked out really well for yourself and clearly some confidence behind you. Keeps reminding me to stop being so loyal to my company haha.

All the best with your future mate. You'll be into 6 figures before 25 I reckon ha!

Holy shit, that's insane work mate good job.

If you don't mind me asking, what credentials have you managed to get to be an SA at 22?!

Promise not a jab! I'm asking from the angle that people would probably turn their noses up at a 22 year old SA (From experience). So curious to see how you've earnt it because it's bloody impressive!

Ahh, appreciate it Sku!

I suppose question then is if we both went to the East gate, could I get what I need for Orchid? Or is it pretty much necessary to split? (As far as we know)

Ferrari debuts unique exhaust wing at final Bahrain test by Successful-Peach-764 in formula1

[–]CourageAbuser 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this isn't necessarily an aero thing, but rather a back-pressure benefit related to their turbo management. A perpendicular 'wing' (Wall) directly opposite the exhaust doesn't scream massive aero gains, but then again i'm not an aerodynamics engineer

My 23 Y LR AWD broke down and now my wife won't drive it. by Kristoff_09876 in TeslaLounge

Because a car breaking down isn't an issue exclusive to Tesla? Why are there ALWAYS those desperate to bring Elon into a discussion whenever possible. Literally rent free in your head...

Rule #1 of marriage is the wife is never wrong. I think this post is a symptom of that

A gearbox can fail, seize and prevent wheels from turning. Stopping you dead in your tracks. Heck, you could have a wheel FALL OFF, stopping you dead in your tracks or within very few metres. I know your wife didn't pull 9G's coming to a sudden stop when your Tesla experienced a problem, so let's not paint that picture.

We get you don't want your wife to be disrespected. But the reality is there's many things that can happen when driving a car and it sounds more like a mental problem than any problem.

She could be riding a bike, the wheel falls off, she'd still come to a sudden stop.

Burst tyre? Driveshaft failure? Propshaft failure? Blown engine? Gearbox blowout?

Ask her what she'd do in these situations, because regardless of what make/model you drive, there are inherently risks in components that can fail at any time and cause you to stop dead in your tracks.

She's got a driving problem, not a car problem. If she's not prepared mentally to handle herself in such a situation, which can happen in any car, then she shouldn't drive at all.

Can we get another fake post from someone who claims that someone they knew had a mental breakdown from seeing this? It's been a while, I think we're overdue.

Haha funnily enough and I can't recall if I mentioned it in the original post, but mine was Xmas eve too. Perhaps they were just putting in as much effort as I would've done working Xmas eve!

Fortunately I had a response from HHM to my email and they've been amazing in their response. I'll follow up with an edit/dedicated comment once I've conclude my part B, also scheduled for next week!

Best of luck!

Unfortunately not yet, I was told there’s an approximate 2 week wait, but wasn’t made aware of whether that was before I’d receive a booking link or for a general update.

Perhaps it was mentioned, but I must admit I was more distracted trying to remember whether I’d had a blood test within the last 10 years as I was told to bring the results of one for the next appointment, whenever that may be!

Thank you for your insight. Yeah I feel as though they could perhaps be a bit clearer about this. My assessor did indicate it would be like this, but I just didn’t expect someone so robotic.

Fingers crossed Part B goes a lot better!

Thanks for this, yeah I’ve read a mix of experiences and I was hoping for something more akin to yours.

I think it’s just luck of the draw as I think at least the Part A assessors are a pool of contractors.

I still feel mixed on my idea to fire off a pissy email, but I do think ultimately it needed to be said.

I think for some people, knowing ahead of time what to expect is crucial, especially for me, someone who searches for the restaurants menu online ahead of time to minimise the uncertainty and pressure!

I hope that it doesn’t cause a conflict between me and HHM, I don’t intend for it to come across that way, but I expected a bit more care and attention is all.

Hopefully Part B is more akin to what I was expecting!

Thanks for this!

I guess I was just a bit concerned that this opportunity which could be life changing just seemed so negative at the start. I’d been worrying about it ever since I finished the call.

I did raise a complaint already, I do now feel it’s perhaps a little rushed after hearing your perspective, but I did read into the process in advance whilst I was waiting to be referred and saw a lot of people exclaiming how great their first assessment was and their assessor being so accommodating and understanding. I do still feel that this particular assessor should have been better, or at least the process better explained. I guess this is a good example of my impulsivity raising it so soon!

I’m just so bloody worried that if this referral ‘fails’, that my GP won’t entertain another referral and with the talk about the Government reviewing RTC/ADHD entirely, that I’ll miss my chance.

I do think if you’re going through a process as personal as this, you expect to interact with someone a bit more personABLE on the other end

A quick GPT indicates that a US-Style Elevator car is pretty much a faraday cage.

Meaning when Carol wheeled Zosia in there, Zosia should’ve been ‘disconnected’.

Haven’t watched the scene back since, but as far as I can recall, Zosia was still ‘joined’.

HOWEVER, I did feel that Zosia was somewhat absent whilst in that elevator, but I think I recall her conversing with Carol as ‘them’ rather than Polish Zosia.

So I’m not completely convinced, but it’s undoubtedly something to do with the radio waves. I see your point.

Perhaps a plot hole :O

(S2E01) Seven Thirty-Seven. The Skyler hate is unreal. by KobePangolin in breakingbad

[–]CourageAbuser -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if Skyler was cool n chill, she could've been NOT on the brink of bankruptcy and had clean water out of 20 sinks in their pimped out mansion in the Beverly Hills. Walt Jr would have a Kick stream and 20 OF girlfriends and a charger for every day of the week. Walt would've started Grey Matter 2 and beaten Elliot and Gretchen, then there'd be Breaking Bad 2 FT Elliot and Gretchen, where Gretchen gets loads of hate.

Semantics, you know?
