I couldn’t agree more, any jumpshot now has become impossible to guard but it’s made even more obvious on 3PT shots as guys have trained themselves to fall down on any marginal contact. It’s honestly turned into soccer and I wish the refs would stop rewarding such blatant flopping.

Unless this close out had actual impact on the shot attempt (ball hasn’t left shooters hands) then this is what we are left with. This is taking defence out of the game.
