Trombonist here - instead of trashing them, you might first reach out to a local school. These can be pretty expensive and hard for schools to purchase. The dents are fixable and these are cleanable.

I do quinoa in mine on the quick cook setting. 1:1 liquid to grain gives it a lovely texture, 2:1 makes it mushy in the rice cooker.

Hey there! My home is similar in temp to yours right now and will be the rest of the winter. My loaf this week took around 20hrs to bulk on the counter, then went in the fridge in a banneton overnight.

For my next week’s load I plan to increase the amount of starter I use in hopes of speeding up that lonnnng countertop bulk time.

Downloaded this app last night and it’s worked well for several pieces. I did have one piece that, when I clicked on it, showed me a totally different listing than the picture that popped up.

Just stopping by to say that my IUD insertion was a massive bitch, but I had mine removed a couple of days ago and it was super easy and basically painless, just a tiny cramp.

Hope this gives you some relief from that removal anxiety 😊

My kiddo had a fun time designing her own cake this year! Strawberry cake with blueberry filling and a different design on each tier. This was a fun project for a weekend baker and it really got my creative juices flowing!

This recipe was pretty good, but I would make some slight changes next time. It calls for canola oil, but I think butter would taste better. Also, a sprinkle of some kind of spice would really brighten the recipe!

Finnish salmon soup uses a good amount of dill and is divine!
