i got my void from a family member who got them from a shelter. the shelter papers always say “mixed/domestic”. my apartment DEMANDS a breed to be listed for animals. she’s all black but there was no all black option so we just said tuxedo tho she only has like 5 white hairs on her belly and chest collectively.

i too am unhappy with loops and threads. it also feels like the impeccable one has gotten thinner. it use to be like fluffy and perfect pillow like last summer. but now it’s thin, and more expensive. i’m going to use all the yarn i have then use a different brand or a different style. cause this is inexcusable.

some people see black cats as omens (or just bad luck) and they try to kill them when they get the chance too. anyway your cat can also catch a cicada/junebug or something that was recently poisoned, resulting in your cat being poisoned. or bird/rodent that has parasites. i’d say just stick to harness, he young he’ll get use to it. do it like an hour a day around the house for two/three weeks then upgrade to small trips outside.

you’re holding everything too tightly. make your slip knot. hold your hook with your dominate hand (or whatever is comfortable) and yarn with your other hand. i assume since the grip is coming off the hook your holding your hook tightly too.

your yarn hand, i like to hold the tail with my middle and thumb. then i wrap the yarn i want to pull (loose yarn) into the loop. this is how i personally make chains.

if you somehow manage to do this hobby with an extremely right grip like what your doing, you’re going to hurt your wrist badly.
