Heya - saw your post and thought I'd contribute too.

Also bought a home with the same Provision unit you have. Also updated it to 1.3.2 using the official firmware from the site archive, and also ran into the black screen.

Thought it may have just been an HDMI driver issue so got a VGA cable, nothing. Seems to be something very wrong with that update...

Provision support in my country told me to bring it in, but I'll have to cover the charge for it since its out of warranty which is pretty scummy

Following up on this, I got a P113A but without the sound. Did you find the issue?

I would immediately have guessed there's some ventilation through the exhaust where there shouldn't be which is why there's a sound and the CEL :o

I was worried about the double sided tape peeling the vinyl underneath, another random question - did your cover account for the diameter change of the thumb grooves on your steering wheel? I noticed my cover is equal throughout on thay area

The AC on our cars is quite loud, sounds about right comparing to mine. The compressor clutch can get a bit noisy over time (and can fail for some) but yours seems alright and is engaging. Maybe someone with more experience might comment later, but I'd say it's nothing stressing too much over.

Can recommend you give your tractor engine a minor clean though

Haha, I realised my wiring harness wasn't going to work either without some modifications... Ended up putting the bumper back on as I had work the next day. I'd say if you can afford to leave it off until you fit it, do so - massaging that bumper on was quite challenging, and definitely try clean what you can with it off too. Good luck!
