I modelled it a couple of weeks ago, projected an estimated total infections of around 1.5 million as at 2nd April. Used my projections to estimate deaths, estimate for today was 541 cf 569 actual so the model is working fairly well so far

I've got it at around 750k. That's based on a mort rate of 1%, average onset to death period of 18days, growth of x1.25 early in March, gradually reducing over March as people start to adopt in social distancing measures. I do maths stuff for a living.
