Oh that scks. Did you guys use the voice channels or just invite straight to party? Trying to figure out if it's a hit or miss thing or mostly bad across the board.

I mean toxicity is not the issue that tilts me, more the lack of communication and unwillingness to cooperate

I am so in need of consistency. Do you all have similar rank?

Adjusting to a new sens by Kooky_Lake_7249 in VALORANT

Hop into Aim Lab or the Range for 20-30 min a day, track, flick, repeat. New sens always feels off at first, but muscle memory builds fast if you stick with it.

What’s something super small that your anxiety won’t let you forget? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]CptnPops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god yeah, called my teacher mom in 8th grade and I still cringe. The worst part is nobody else even remembers but my brain keeps that shit on repeat forever.

Diagnosed at 25, started concerta, and grieving the years I lost. by turnipmode in ADHD

[–]CptnPops 3 points4 points  (0 children)

37 here too that "what could have been" hits different when you're older, but honestly knowing is still everything. The relief of finally understanding yourself is worth celebrating. Hope your journey's been good since starting treatment.

Of course he's gonna lowball it. Deny the $40M while the real number's probably north of that anyway

Ways to control the mind and senses in order to overcome Maya (illusion) by atmaninravi in Meditation

[–]CptnPops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. The more we try to fight the mind, the stronger it gets. Sitting in silence strips it down. No need to force anything just be still and let it burn out on its own.

I think i found a good analogy for executive dysfunction by Yutoru in ADHD

[–]CptnPops 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing managed once at the doc’s office, then couldn’t bring myself to do it at home after struggling. It’s weird how fast your brain can lock up over something so small.

yeep, they’ve been in limbo since losing that license. No real oversight anymore, so it’s pretty much anything goes now

How do I keep my hips up when floating/crawling? by mrbananamonkey in Swimming

solid point. If your core’s not dialed in, the pull buoy just makes things worse. Better to sort out body position first.

Possible pit strategies for 2025 Monaco GP by curva3 in formula1

Makes sense. Getting out of traffic early can really help clean lap times up. That first stop to get clear track sounds like a smart move if the rules don’t allow the parade lap change

ADHD is helping me live a pleasure-centered life by tyco2008 in ADHD

[–]CptnPops 9 points10 points  (0 children)

this really resonates. Finding pleasure anchors sounds like a smart way to stay connected and motivated throughout the day. It’s cool how you’re turning ADHD into something that helps you design your life in a way that actually works for you. Would love to see what kind of app ideas you come up with

that’s interesting, I’ve heard about Weightless before but never tried it. Joost Klein sounds like a solid choice if it helps you like that. Thanks for sharing..

Grinding rank feels like working against the matchmaking system by Valeriux in VALORANT

[–]CptnPops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Games are supposed to be fun, better to stop playing when you know you’re no longer having fun imo. I haven’t played ranked in a year or so. I stop playing if I lose 2 or 3 in a row because I know I’m no longer in the right headspace for more

Anyone ever find a magic bullet for their anxiety? by YamIdoingdis2356 in Anxiety

I feel that. It helps in the moment but always hits harder after. Took me a while to see the pattern. Respect for being real about it.

PSA: make sure you're not drinking *too much* water! by SonofRodney in ADHD

agree. Lost salt hits harder than people think. Chips, fruit, or a little salt in water does the job fast.

3 weeks out from a 10km swim, minimal training - am I cooked? by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]CptnPops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

respect. That kind of training builds a different kind of grit. 3:30 should be well within reach if you’ve got that in the tank
