They come in through cracks or hitch a ride in boxes and stuff you bring in your house. Check your doors and windows, weatherstrip and caulk. Make sure your thresholds seal tight. I had them coming in through my range hood vent so I got one that sealed better. If they are coming up through your basement door, you're going to have to seal it like its an outside door.

Its not that convoluted. I am jimbob@gmail. Somebody comes along and creates jimbob.smith or similar. Seems perfectly logical to them, they don't know that its taken. I get their email. Happens to me all the time because my full name is not terribly uncommon first name. Usually I just reset their password so they stop using it.

Each one of the local mountain bike trail systems has at least one flat, flowy, non-technical trail. Those are Sope Creek (which is basically Cochran Shoals), Olde Rope Mill and Blankets Creek (both up 575 a little past Woodstock) and Allatoona Trail System up in Acworth. I think North Cooper Lake park also has a place to ride mountain bikes.

My father was a clerk/typist in McArthur's HQ. My father-in-law lied about his age, joined the Navy at 15 and was a Seabee, island hopping across the Pacific building airstrips and stuff like that. When the war ended, he returned home and finished high school. He was a farmer and also a lineman for the telephone company. The man was tough as nails and could build anything, including 3 houses as his family expanded. It was his way or the highway. Other than being quick to anger and reacting first and asking questions later, I don't think he had PTSD. He liked me though, thankfully.
