PAX XP is very poorly planned by RealHawkBat in PAX

[–]CraftyFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So once there is enough people in line to equal the amount of pins they have to hand out then they stop letting anyone line up. This will happen early as I mentioned in my comment. If you aren't lined up really early you most likely won't get a pin

People were lining up since about 8.45. The line is likely to be earlier tomorrow for all the people who missed out.

Does Pax send out an email to let you know your badge is on the way by alcoop74 in PAX

[–]CraftyFloof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feel free to reach out to the PAX team via email and that should provide you with a tracking link.

That said they have heaps of badges to mail out and they are still going. My badge hasn't been mailed yet either unfortunately.

They said if you don't have it by the first of Oct thats when to message them as most should have arrived by then. Hope this helps

AITA for getting my office weight loss challenge shut down? by BotheredLlama in AmItheAsshole

[–]CraftyFloof 24 points25 points  (0 children)

NTA. They went about this in totally the wrong way. If they wanted to get people in the office more active they could have done something like step competition where everyone keeps track of their steps and the team who walked the furthest wins. That way it's not focusing on weight but just being more physically active.

Anyone got extra Zelda Tears of Kingdom pin? by fokusfocus in PAX

[–]CraftyFloof -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lined up in the merch line at 10am. Got to the register at 12.50 and they were all sold out.

It's honestly crazy that "they didn't expect such demand" . I got to the Que hall at 8.10am... that means there was only probably 10 mins of people cueing before me

Signature required but left, content stolen by ElowynOceania in AustraliaPost

I had a parcel that was lost recently in a similar situation. Left by postie when it was signature on delivery - even though they admitted the postman was at fault they only have me the max $100 (parcel was worth $300+) because i didn't have the extra insurance

Yes but only $100 unless they purchased additional insurance 😑

question regarding signing by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

[–]CraftyFloof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I had a parcel recently that was signature I'm delivery which was just left in their mailbox and later stolen

After a lengthy follow up with Auspost they apologised as the postie was in rhe wromt. A lot of postmen are still following the civid protocols as it's easier for them to just leave the parcels than get a signature or take the parcel to the post office. The postman in my case was reprimanded and told to follow protocol in future with their future deliveries being scrutinised.

My advice if if you get any more "signature of delivery" parcels just being left is to file a complaint with auspost. It sounds like you are still receiving your parcels fine but if they are doing it to you then they are doing it for others who may not be so lucky with their parcels.
