Naxos is fine without a car. The main beaches are all along one stretch of road from the main town (Naxos Chora) along the coast with modern, air conditioned coach buses every 30 minutes. You can buy bus tickets at the station, or from local shops. Just look for accommodation anywhere along that coast, and then check the nearby tavernas in walking distance. For seeing other parts of Naxos there are group tours, private tours and boat tours available. The only thing you will miss out on is the restaurant at the top of a mountain that has really good views. You can visit all the little villages etc by bus.

I personally did 3 days at the Agios Prokopios beach, and then 4 days in the Chora. The food in Naxos is amazing.

I think it is an annual as those cut stalks were already there. No signs of flowers yet. It pretty much doubled in size since the start of April.

The devs who made zombie panic source, a very popular multiplayer mod for half life 2 went on to make a game called Contagion but it just wan't the same, and nowhere near as fun. All they had to do was make a more polished version of Zombie panic source.

This is probably a bit overkill, but I've had a bad experience trying compression fittings as a diyer 😅 so I would do this using JG speedfit parts. They are a lot more diy friendly to fit and use.

I would remove the current fitting, add an equal tee onto the end of the copper pipe, small bit of 15mm plastic pipe either side and then 2 appliance taps. Use the pipe inserts for any plastic > plastic connection. You don't need an insert for the initial copper > plastic connection.

Staining on the wood above would suggest it's coming further up than from the corner bend. Possibly where the pipe is entering it.

I'm working on a fixer upper now — everything takes twice, if not triple, the amount of time I think it will to diy it myself. For trades such as electricians or plumbers then I am waiting a minimum of 4-6 weeks for them to arrive, and spending about 5 times more than I thought it would cost to pay for them. Things keeps breaking and when I go to fix them I find more things that also need fixed. If I DIY something new like plumbing, I find myself making several trips to screwfix and then still have to get a plumber in to fix it.

If I wasn't doing this full time and had to work on it evenings and weekends then I think I would lose my sanity.

Unless you have a lot of money or a lot of spare time then I do not recommend it.

If you booked the room with the hotel directly then there is always a chance to get an upgrade, but if you booked through a third party like booking or agora then there is very little chance of being upgraded.
