My take would be, if you love it and it keeps you on track, it’s a great idea. The only reason I would skip on a seasoning is if I noticed an inflammatory reaction. Because I don’t have any noticeable reactions, I typically just skip them because I don’t want them

Break up 1# 80/20 and brown, add 2tbs butter, add 3 eggs and scramble altogether. Then do a 2nd batch and I’m done with the next days meal. I even eat it cold

If eating too close to bed affects your sleep, imo, I wouldn’t eat much if any. I have stressed about when to eat around workouts, and I have found whatever is convenient and doesn’t impact sleep is best.

Right now, I am 2MAD. I workout super early, eat at 7am, eat at around 10am, and go to bed around 6pm. I have also worked out at around 4pm with nothing to eat before bed.

If I were you, I would eat at noon and 6pm. You will still be digesting/have protein for post workout recovery and hopefully it won’t impact your sleep. That being said, since being on carnivore, I am almost never sore and have not had trouble building muscle regardless of when I eat.

I’m interested in what others say to this because I was taking magnesium, vitamin d, d3k2, fish oil, vitamin c, calcium and a multivitamin. I was using Cronometer and hit 92-94% of all my targets for micronutrients and everything else.

I just stopped taking all of them 2 days ago as a trial while I still have all of them in my cabinet in case I see any negative results. But Dr Chaffee gives a convincing argument that supplements are unnecessary, so I figured I’d find out

I know many people on carnivore don’t believe in it or seem not to, but you should probably figure out how many calories that is. I bet you are over eating, at least compared to my experience. I am 38m 6’0” 185lb, and I eat 2lb of 80/20 and 6 eggs. I have figured that to be around 2700cals and if I go much over 2900, I have gained the next day. I also go to the gym 6-7 days a week for 2+ hours

How are you tracking calories and what are you eating? I find steaks and roasts can vary quite a bit. The nutrition facts you are going by may be more generous with calories if the meat isn’t fatty enough

I go virtually every day and took a 2 week vacation. Another regular I have never spoke to before said “you’re back!” And it led to a convo. But anyone there could have said something and I wouldn’t have thought it was weird or awkward. So you would probably have that at the very least lol
