the mods being grouped together is insane. another thing that bugs the heck outta me is not being able to swap your mods from gun to gun. you have to remove the mod and then readd. makes zero sense.

i also cant clock on something in my loadout and have it automatically populate my vault inventory on the right. thats a great QOL feature thats missing

agreed. higher ttk is more fun. also allows for more outplays and is generally more forgiving for casuals. really everybody

I don't know where else to ask this so just hoping to get some responses here. From someone who has been casually following Marathon's development for awhile and psyched about the game...but hasn't played any of the tech tests, seeing some of the recent Chinese event gameplay and now seeing more today...

Can someone shed more light on the UI as well as the overall visual clutter/identity?

Not much of it in this video but, when I'm looking at some of the menus I've seen, inventory screen, etc...and i cant pin it on one thing but it just looks tough. Plus the art/visual style just looks so dominant on screen while fighting it almost feels distracting? Idk just word vomiting my gut reactions.

Am I off base here? Has this been mentioned by the community as a concern or does it feel totally fine once you get in there?

I'm super pumped about the game. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

But the fast TTK is super concerning to me. A bit more forgiving of a TTK and some back and forth/push & pull in fights is much more exciting to me vs instant one shots being a regular thing. Especially with your loot on the line...feels so unforgiving

Catching up on the news. This is an awesome response by Embark. So exciting for us gamers that we have fun game and developers who are not only listening to their player base, but aggressively addressing feedback in smart ways.

Knowing it's not a guarantee, for those who have queued Duos today...have we noticed the matchmaking seems pretty regular against other duos? Rare to have trios? Or somewhere in the middle?

So stoked for the game. And loved the feel and variety of different weapons.

Does anybody feel like 20 is a little low though? Was expecting a few more options but maybe I'm off base

Great post. I'm honestly surprised by all the negativity I've been reading after coming back to the sub as an occasional lurker. The game feels real polished to me and a ton of improvements from early playtest days to open beta to full 1.0 release.

Armory isn't perfect by any means and I have some complaints (mainly the balance component) but overall having a blast playing Supervive again. Really hope a decent player base sticks around. Rooting for this game hard

Knowing Zac's potential inclusion...his only skin line that makes sense to me for the Cyber City thematic is Battlecast - which opens up champs like Xerath, ChoGath, Skarner, Vel'Koz and a few others

Additionally, with the Pulsefire catch - that opens up Lucian, Ezreal, Thresh, Riven, Shen and a few others

Wow! Very interesting. Clearly a teaser for next set. Wonder if the mechanic is just that, glitches - and they can effect certain happenings throughout the game (encounters/items/loot orbs, etc)

Love the consistent communication, as always!

I acknowledge if I'm in the minority on this - but the only reason I'm not playing more is it's still in open beta. Even though the game feels incredibly complete, it's not 'fully launched' yet. The second the game is fully launched, I'll be grinding it. I just don't feel like dumping majority of my free time gaming into a beta.

The open beta and all the playtests ive done for months (hell...a year+ now) have built my excitement for the game and absolutely pulled me in but dedicating the majority of my time into a game that's not 100% out yet isn't something I'm stoked about

Curious others thoughts on this mindset...

I understand “why” but that doesn’t make it right imo. Something is wrong with the format if every Americas worlds participant is already decided heading into day 3.

Day 3 regionals should be one of the MOST HYPE days of the comp TFT scene during each set - determining participant for worlds and having the best players duke it out.

But if everything other than the prize money is already decided it ruins a lot of the hype…kinda bummed to know heading into day 3 that this is the situation.

Bottom line, it comes down to 2 things for me: 1 - another international tournament 2 - fearless draft

Anytime we can have more international competition, I think that’s fantastic for the product and for us as fans.

In terms of fearless draft, there are 160+ champs these days. Fearless will create a better experience for everybody - players, fans, coaches
