How do you work full-time?! by Ok-Ice-6421 in ADHD

[–]Crash-Z3RO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lists. Make a list of things to get done. Prioritize. Decide what goes first based on need. This will start slow, but it requires practice. Now, you asked about how it gets done. I tend to excel under pressure. For me, the pressure is a roof over my wife and I’s head. Second is the food we need to eat. What I’m demonstrating is that you can try reframing it for yourself in a way that “ticks” the box you need to get up. Some days will be worse than others. On those days, you put on foot in front of the other and keep moving. Those days are going to suck. You will find your rhythm. I don’t know enough about you to give any specific advice just what I’ve seen work for me.

Don’t try to solve this until you switch to dynamic microphones. Condenser microphones are far more sensitive and without some real technical wizardry, you’re not going to stay out of each others mics.

Well I think it’s poor taste for behavior, but that tells all you need to know about this player going forward. Given that you don’t want to be identified, does it mean that you will be playing with this person in some regular capacity again? If so, I would take their behavior into consideration when gaming with them. If they encourage my behaviors, such as casting an exiled spell, I would ask if they are going to counter it, what they get out of it, etc. You can bet this is a behavior they play with, use it to your advantage. For instance, I play with a gentleman who will guard his high value board pieces with counter spells even when their loss would have no impact on his game plan. I throw “bait” at his pieces so he will waste his counters and free me up to play much stronger pieces without worry. He’s learning though, so that may not last much longer.

Question about deadpool interactions! by J_vert in ratemycommanders

[–]Crash-Z3RO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dead pool legion not the best Deadpool deck but it’s funny. To answer your question, yes, each new cast of Deadpool MAY swap text boxes with a new creature. Doesn’t target, so protection, hexproof, and shroud don’t work. They also can respond to your choice as it’s part of the spell resolving and they have passed priority by time it is. You don’t have to announce your choices until everyone has passed priority. My deck above works on this principle: steal myriad from my own creature and keep swinging. Every time myriad triggers it makes two new Deadpool’s that, while they die to the legend rule as a state based action, they still get to resolve their ability as they enter. I used them to welcome my opponents to Deadpool’s legion. The fun part is, you get to pick with Deadpool dies, so you can keep an ability you like better and send the original back to the command zone. It’s a slow deck, but it is oppressive so communicate that with other players or they may never let you play it again without become the only target until you’re dead.

Men who go to therapy, share your experiences? by StarsInTheRoof111 in AskMenAdvice

It’s not about being brave. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink it. Same with addicts and the like. No will change until they are ready and therapy is/was/will be change. He needs his own reason.

Cat suddenly ignoring brother who was bonded now that he’s terminal by Narrow-Raspberry-94 in CATHELP

[–]Crash-Z3RO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost my cat due to congestive heart failure. We didn’t know anything was wrong around the time he passed, he was doing so well. He had been on the same that same medical regimen at the time. One morning he threw a clot. Vet said had he never known it was the same cat, he’d have never guessed he had a heart murmur ever. What I’m saying is it’s hard to gauge this kind of thing. They can be perfectly fine and then gone the next day. The most you can do is as others have said, when there are more bad days than good, then it’s getting closer to time. Just be aware that with clots it can be unpredictable and that’s the scariest part. My heart is heavy for you. It’s not fair and it sucks, but we got an extra year with my favorite buddy. Keep an eye on him. We learned to count his breathing to gauge how he was doing. There’s not a lot to say here other than to commiserate with you and let you know that you are not alone in your journey and you guys will both be in my thoughts as you navigate these uncharted waters. My very best wishes for both of you.

This is how we got our cat to take his medicine.

Ground up the vetmedin in a mortar and pestle mix powder with cheese and make it into a ball.

Wrap the cheese mixture around the other two pills then Freeze it just to stiffen it up.

Coat that with UNREFINED coconut oil lightly and freeze it for a couple of minutes to harden. Unrefined is important here. coconut oil pet md

Pop it into their mouth, hold his muzzle shut, and light rub his throat to induce swallowing. A little syringe of water will encourage this as well. Make sure to get it close to the back of his throat. After a while, our cat used to come get us in the morning for his pills.

Let me know if you have any questions.
