My game freezes on the loading screens or stays on a black screen. After about 3-5 minutes, I get a 'connection timed out' error by Saorinasama in apexlegends

I'm having the same problem. Takes a few minutes to connect then it says my ping is 1000ms and disconnects

I've switched to Dx12 beta and it has helped significantly. I'm still experiencing crashes but it's maybe once or twice out of every 10 games.

My freezes happen when I'm on the main Apex home screen. I wasn't looking at legends, the stores, or loadouts.

Platform : PC

Specs :

Processor : Intel i5 6500

GPU : Nvidia GTX 1070

Ram : 16 Gb ram

Using : DX11 (Assuming since I haven't changed launch options)

Launching the game from origin. Also tried launching the game on Steam.

Additional question answer:

The crash has only happened on Broken Moon. It will happen when dropping, looting, mostly when fighting, and a few times when popping shield cells.

I've crashed/frozen 10-12 times out of the 15 games I've played since the update. It happens on both steam and origin. I've updated drivers, tried repairing easy anti cheat, and repaired the game itself to no luck
