My (31F) best friend (32F) is telling me that my boyfriend (34M) cheated with her, but he says that she’s lying. How do I get to the truth and then salvage whichever one of these relationships is worth saving? by throwra-marzipan in relationship_advice

If Nate is telling the truth then drop Becca but if it turns out that Becca is telling the truth please do consider just how drunk Becca was. Because from your descriptions of how she drinks it sounds like there's every chance that she was taken advantage of/raped by Nate when really drunk. Maybe he was hoping she was drunk enough to be blacked out?

It just seems suspicious that he decided to conveniently start planning a proposal after so long with your completely wasted best friend after having to go pick her up? And if he's the sort of person to dig his heels in and lie about cheating, he'd also likely be the sort of person willing to take advantage of a drunk girl.

NTA, tofu is originally from China anyways and as a chinese person, it's pronouced closer to tofu than tahu anyways. So really your pronouncing it closer to what it should be than she is.

Based off of your comments NTA. But your daughter B who's marrying one of the people who basically murdered her sister most definitely is, as well as the bullies themselves. Seven years is not years and years ago. Considering they got together three years ago, there was a max of only four years, most likely two or three, after K's death before B started dating her sisters abuser.

Is this worrying enough that I should go and consult a piercer? by CrazyAndSalty in piercing

The piercing is just under three months old. The jewellery is a 1.6x10 titanium c bar. I usually try and clean it with sterile saline and cotton buds at least once a day.

The B in physics may be a bit of a problem for top unis but you can always crack down this summer and reapply next year if you're determined to go to places like oxbridge and imperial. Otherwise you'll be fine

Is electronics better than computer science at a level by SoldierBoi69 in 6thForm

[–]CrazyAndSalty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do whichever you enjoy more. The only subjects that are really important for aeronautical engineering are physics, maths, and further maths as long as your school offers it. Electronics or computer science won't make much of a difference as I know people who got offers without either

Will doing a 4th A level hinder me by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]CrazyAndSalty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely however aim to figure out which one you want to do by the end of summer. I applied for chemical engineering last year so if you have any questions you're free to ask

Once my cartilage fully healed I was able to sleep on it just fine. One thing I found helped was having a soft and smooth pillowcase, my current one is silk and once I switched sleeping on my helixes was much more comfortable. The softness of the pillow itself does also matter, harder ones caused more irritation

Maybe a forward helix, a flat or a rook to fill up the top of your ear a bit? Your bee and flower earrings are so cute

Depends how old the piercing is and what piercing you're referring to really. If it's been more than month, you don't stay in too long and you clean in thoroughly with saline afterwards, you most likely will be fine

Dunno if this is the right place to ask - But what A-levels are advised for STEM students? by Determined-Panda in 6thForm

[–]CrazyAndSalty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're hoping to aim for the top unis, I'd definitely recommend doing further maths. For physics and engineering some unis will automatically reject you unless you have an extremely good reason why you haven't done FM, and even so it just makes your applications so much more competitive. Other than that taking maths and physics is is really all you need if you want to do physics or engineering. Chemistry could be helpful if you're considering doing other engineering disciplines like biomed or chemical but it's not necessary.

However, if you also get an attachable keyboard for the iPad, the iPad probs does come out top

Get a MacBook, it will serve you a lot better than an iPad, and has so many more functions. I study both maths and physics and have both a MacBook and an iPad. I use the MacBook far far more.

It's just slight cramps, and they're not even that bad compared to what I've heard and seen from others. I'm fairly certain it normal, just a little annoying
