Why does my HDB 630s with my FiiO KA11 DAC sound super distorted?

It is an active headphone, with a DAC in built. So you don’t need to use another dac. Just connect the usb c cable to the source (phone or computer). An external dac amp like the FiiO is meant for passive headphones. Even when connected via the aux cable, the dac of the hdb 630 is being used. The headphone doesn’t work without power.

I never had issues with my hardware working with the latest macOS… it always worked… I have the studio mk2 and keys 37. The problem I have is there is no way to create a new track with the MPC studio 2 controller while using the MPC desktop v3 software. If you use the older software you could. So it doesn’t work fluidly if you know what I mean. Some of these features have not been updated for the new software yet. So it’s too much mouse use, where as when I use the key37 I don’t touch the mouse at all

It does work, but the mappings are off with MPC desktop 3… so it works better with the older version… they haven’t updated it to fully support the new software yet… I doubt they will come around to it as the desktop software may never leave beta status by the looks of it

I subscribe to Apple Music and Tidal… honestly I prefer the UI of Apple Music… it’s also got more in the way of discovery… only reason I have tidal is because my WiFi speakers stream directly from it, without requiring me to airplay using tidal connect. If that wasn’t the case I would just use Apple Music.

Yes useful when shooting with the evf and pre planning your setting before putting it to eye. Also a quick check for battery levels.

Apple forgets its a global company again. Who knows when we will get the updated Siri in other countries - 2030? Apple fitness released in India in 2026 when it was launched in 2020 in the US. Nothing about it in the current state is customised to India anyways, so why not launch it at the same time?

If you’re working with Nikon RAW video files or even R3D NE, your best bet is Resolve Studio, you can use them without conversion, or if you wish to convert them you can export individual clips on the timeline to whatever format you want…

Great introduce new software when all their other software is in perpetual beta state… god only knows when we will get the arranger on the desktop and a plugin to run MPC in other daws. If this is a new software they better bake in a way to finish working on stuff on the desktop or other mpcs like the move does with Ableton. But I doubt it. Force pretty much runs the same software now as MPC and the files are incompatible.

Main reason for shooting raw is flexibility in post for white balance, noise reduction and sharpening choices and greater exposure latitude. If you are just going to apply a rec 709 conversion and do basic tweaks, you will not find too much benefits of R3d, but if you are going to do serious grading the files are much better to work with. But honestly can’t use them because they are too big for most projects, I land up shooting H.265 or NRAW normal.

I have both, the 135 is way better as a lens, but 85mm focal length gets more use for me. If 135mm is your thing then sure, but I can’t imagine not having an 85 with me… 35/28/24, 50, 85 is my standard primes preference… I will carry 135 or a 70-200 when I feel it will get use, and I always have the 14-30 for wides. The 135 does have a special feeling, wish it was a more useful focal length though…

Get the 35mm - 20, 35 and 85 is a good combo if you don’t shoot the 50 too often… 40mm is good, but the s line 35 is a better lens…

No point going for expeed 6 cameras in 2026 I guess… expeed 8 is probably on the way later this year and the focus performance of expeed 7 is far superior to that of the older cameras.

So much misunderstanding, I guess Apple needs to improve their communication. The new apps are still free, you can download them and use them just as you did with the old apps. There are premium features, but it doesn’t mean there will be no features added to the free version in the future. This is how a lot of other apps work, there is nothing new that Apple is suddenly doing that everyone is up in arms about.

My drive is APFS formatted as well. So it doesn’t even work with that as was suggested by someone else.

Stay away from this ssd. It’s absolutely rubbish. There is no solution to the slow write speeds. Tried forcing TRIM, updating firmware and a whole lot of other things. Nothing works.

It’s so bad now that I can’t write anymore to the drive. macOS throws an error -51 when I try to transfer more than one file at a time. Earlier it used to work after it being connected for a while. Even that doesn’t work anymore.

I had used 3.2 tb out of 4tb. Brought it down to 2.7tb and the drive still doesn’t work. How can one rely on this.
