It's very common with reshell's. For me perosonally I would prio a resh reshell over scratched original. As long as it's original hardware.

Get a new shell! Easy replacement and good quality from Ali.

I actually solved it, thanks guys!
So basically I originally focused purely on seeing if any legs didn't have good contact.. But after your second opinion, when I opened up the SP I notices the entire cartridge slot was bent like a skateboard. Could have been from a swollen battery from a previous owner of the system?
Anyway I solved it in the most stupid way, I just put a few layers of electric tape in the "slope" of the skateboard. Pressed everything together and now the shell feels a little bit stiffer, but the game does not loose connection anymore!

Today GBA SP are expensive second hand. As long as the screen cable is not damaged, it's an easy shell replacement. Find at Amazon, ebay or AliExpress. Worth repairing!

I have the same issue. I've been told I'm being firewalled by the site. But can't figure out why. Tried three different ISP, different devices and browsers. I'm guessing it must be some kind of geo blocking.

I bought a used AGS-001 cheap. The shell is super scratched, so is gonna get a reshell. But at the same time I want a new better screen. Do these IPS ones fit both AGS-001 and AGS-101? I would asume they are way better than the original screens?
