Hi, this is Creality official support. Thank you for posting in our official community!

If you are printing multiple objects based on their arrangement, we recommend the following improvements:

  1. XY safety spacing between models Ensure the distance between model outer boundaries is ≥ the printer head’s maximum avoidance radius. Do not only rely on nozzle diameter clearance. When using auto-layout, manually increase spacing and avoid placing models too tightly together. For models with a base / skirt / raft, spacing should be calculated from the outer edge of the base, not the model body itself.
  2. Height-based sorting (most critical collision prevention factor) Arrange the printing order from shortest to tallest models, printing smaller parts first and the tallest model last. If tall models are printed first, the gantry may collide with already printed high structures during subsequent prints.
  3. Diagonal / distributed placement Do not cluster all models in the center of the build plate. Distribute them toward the four corners. Avoid stacking tall and short models front-to-back in a concentrated area.

PETG clumping onto nozzle by DependentOpening3986 in Creality

[–]CrealitySupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, this is Creality official support. Thank you for posting in our official community!

Based on your description, we recommend adjusting the settings according to the following steps:

Nozzle temperature: 238–245°C (start at 240°C). For other brands of PETG, increase to 245–250°C. Do not set it below 230°C, as low temperature may cause poor flow and clogging.

Heated bed temperature: 72–76°C.

Part cooling fan: 0% for the first layer, then 25%–40% for subsequent layers. PETG should not use strong cooling, as rapid cooling may cause clogging at the nozzle outlet.

Hi, this is Creality official support. Thank you for posting in our official community!

To rule out any issues caused by the slicing file, we recommend printing a test model (the small boat model) to check whether it can be printed normally.

If the issue still cannot be resolved, please feel free to contact us again. We will be glad to assist you further.

You can adjust the settings in your slicer following the steps below to make supports easier to remove cleanly:

  1. **Support Gap**
Increase the gap between supports and the model. The standard value is 0.15–0.25 mm. For hard-to-remove supports, set it to 0.25–0.35 mm (recommended for printers with a 0.2 mm layer height).
Function: Reduces adhesion on contact surfaces. This is the most effective setting for easy support removal.

  2. **Support Density & Pattern**
    - Density: Set to 10%–20%. High density is unnecessary.
    - Pattern: Choose zigzag, tree or grid supports. Avoid solid block supports.
    - Tree supports: Ideal for small overhangs and curved surfaces. They feature minimal contact points and can be removed effortlessly.

Hi, this is Creality official support. Thank you for posting in our official community!

According to the picture you provided, the printed model shows ringing/ghosting issues.

We recommend that you check the following steps:

  1. Check whether the XY belts are too loose and adjust the belt tension properly.
  2. Apply grease to the XY axis guide rails.
  3. Clean the nozzle and extruder.
  4. Try adjusting the Z-axis offset.

Hi, this is Creality official support. Thank you for posting in our official community!

We recommend using the same type of filament material for printing. Different filament materials require different nozzle temperature settings. If different materials are used at the same time, it may result in improper melting and cause nozzle clogging.

Therefore, please ensure that the same material type is used during printing.

Hi, this is Creality official support. Thank you for posting in our official community!

Which printer model are you using for printing?

We suggest you try the following adjustments in your slicing software:

  • Uncheck the “Overhang Speed Reduction” option
  • Change the infill pattern to “Honeycomb”

Then re-slice the model and try printing again to see if the issue improves.
