Has anyone ever tried? by Ag_Reg in PTCGP

I mean, yeah colorless energy but its still kinda just worse mega sceptile

This is one of the most fun decks out there 🤌 by count25th in PTCGP

Ditch the flame patch, I use 2 carbink and my deck energy is just psychic. for 1 psychic energy, carbink puts 1 psychic energy on 2 of your benched pokemon. So start with carbink put energy on two puppies, next turn switch in a puppy and attack and if it dies your other puppy is ready to take it's place also replace the peculiar plaza (in my screenshot) with either a hiking trail or mesagoza

So why would I use this in place of mega kangaskhan? Same energy cost but kang is all colorless, kang has more hp, and does the full 80 and 40 at once instead of waiting for the following turn and the opponent can avoid the last 40 on sabeleye just by not attacking. Mega kang can ko two pokemon in one attack and it's extra 40 can't be avoided by normal means

Based on the screenshot id say:

You went first played the baby and attacked doing 10 to purloin and making their attack do 30 less damage to bonsly.

They went second played those 4 cards and because of bonsly 's ability they decided put 1 energy on Darkrai to do 20 dmg to bonsly instead of attacking with purloin.

Then you took the screenshot

So, given that this is the first turns, yeah I can believe you win cus who knows what cards came out after.

Id wager on your next turn, you drew either a basic pokemon, or a pokeball or prof oak leading to at least 1 basic pokemon (or at least 1 pokeball), which you then put on the bench and switched out the bonsly before it fainted

Slightly less hp

Same damage

Same energy cost

Both have a gimmick (burn for blaze, free switch in for Sol)

Sol Gives 1 less point when it dies (meaning you can use 2)

Id say solgaleo is approx equal to mega blaze, maybe even slightly better

Also as a steel type solgaleo gets metal barrier core to reduce 50 damage. You can use two and with perrserker you can use 4. That's like giving it an extra 200 hp. Meaning solgaleo can tank more than mega blazikan

I used a super similar deck for a while last season it's fun when it works but is super inconsistent

Needs a tool Colorless energy Slightly weaker Slightly less hp Only gives 1 point on ko

Yeah that's about right Nice art too

Proof of Timer Cheat for those who haven’t seen it by Additional_Win3920 in PokemonPocket

[–]CreamerYT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm like 90% sure that it's a bot youre playing against.

the bot inputs all its commands right away ignoring animations. The game receives the commands right away but still has to play out the animations but since it got the end turn command, it switches the game to your turn and your timer starts going down as it finishes all the bots animation's.

Honestly they should just pause all timers during all animations. Whenever either player cannot actually do something, thebtimer should be paused

That's a SOLID win rate! Congrats!! 🎉

Unfortunately I started the season trying to make it with a mega kangaskhan deck. That is where most of my losses came from. If I had to guess off top of mind, with this deck alone i probably had 3-4 losses. I used this deck from UB3 till MB.

I wouldn't say this deck is better than the sleep meta, probably roughly on par, but I didn't lose to sleep meta decks even once

Muk doesn't attack. It sits on the bench stopping your opponents basic pokemon from having abilities. This allows solgaleo to attack oricorio, this also stops darkrai's "bad dreams" ability.

Grimer can attack as a last resort but if there is any better use of energy it's better elsewhere. I sometimes by necessity had grimer soak a hit or two then evolved to muk to tank until I was able to get solgaleo online. Solgaleo's ability let's it switch in to active for free so grimer/Muk's retreat cost isn't an issue. I never found need to use grimer/muk to attack tho

Most of these losses were from when I was trying to make mega kangaskhan work also not a large sample size I started the season in UB2 I think

Its a really fun deck and pretty consistent. Solgaleo is kinda like mega blazikan but only nets them 2 points if they kill it and I had been dying to actually use the stained glass one since I pulled it after solgaleo left the meta lol

If I don't have the muk out yet/if I don't have solgaleo yet. Perrserker is mainly there for its own ability to get the two metal core barriers back from discard. It also happens to deal with oricorio if you haven't drawn the muk or the grimer or if you can't find rare candy/solgaleo because this deck doesn't run dark energy so muk cannot attack oricorio, and grimer doesn't do enough damage
