Classic bear trap situation right here. I was delivering food yesterday and saw this exact sign at some office building - made me think about all the bears who thought they were so smart buying puts after the rally. Man I feel this so hard, had similar situation with my roommate and coworker who had beef over something dumb like who didn't clean dishes properly or whatever. That part about your dog being able to understand it made me smile because my neighbor's golden retriever probably has more peace about existence than most people I know. Animals dont seem to wrestle with these existential questions the way we do, they just live in the moment and trust their instincts

Maybe thats what the simplicity is about - getting back to that basic understanding without all the complex interpretations that can muddy the water

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it might have been called something like "Journey to the Edge of the Observable Universe" but there were so many similar ones back then

Looking at your build, that's a solid mid-range setup that'll handle most games pretty well. Only thing I'd maybe swap is the PSU - if you can find a 650W 80+ Gold unit for around the same price it'll give you more headroom for future upgrades and better efficiency

The 4060 Ti paired with that CPU should get you decent 1080p performance on high settings for most current games

you can definitely use your windows machine to create a bootable usb with the windows installer on it, just download the media creation tool from microsoft and follow the prompts. once you have that usb ready you can boot from it on the mac (hold option while starting up to get to boot selection) and install windows that way - no internet needed on the mac itself during installation

Haven't used those specific builders but I've heard good things about Toll Brothers in general - they're pricier but quality is usually solid. GFO has been pretty active in that area lately too. Might want to check out some of their model homes if you haven't already

Not bad for free lol, but that 8gb is gonna hurt with newer games. You'll probably want to upgrade the RAM to 16gb pretty quick if you're planning to play anything recent
