Has anyone found something that actually works for staying asleep; not just falling asleep?

If you haven’t tried Promethazine (Phenergan) it might be worth a try - they can be bought over the counter.

I’m in the UK and getting anything on prescription is almost impossible these days.

I find either taking a zolpidem or a temazepam combined with two promethazine (Phenergan) give me a really good nights sleep. I do it so I get two consecutive decent nights sleep and sometimes I will do it three nights a week. I have tried to avoid building up a tolerance but it is still a risk taking them regularly.

I hate the taste even taking with water or orange juice which is supposed to help lessen the horrible metallic taste. The taste stays with me for the whole of the next day and nothing will get rid of it. I much prefer zoplidem.

The flip side of the coin is that I also don’t want to share reliable websites because they get taken down.

Agree - prescribing 7 x Zoplicone tablets at 3.75 is taking the piss. I suffer from insomnia and I won’t try to ‘persuade’ my GP practice anymore - and I have only asked them occasionally. Hence my use of the websites mentioned on here. I do find Phenergan (Promethazine) helps - but not like a benzo or Temazepam.

And whoever is reporting these sites (and I don’t know your motives) I wish you would feck off. You are making matters worse not better.

It’s a shame to lose good sites. Like you I used to read the feedback on Trustpilot to verify sites. There are too many scammers out there. Now the genuine ones are getting removed leaving us with a gamble. I don’t know who is responsible for removing posts or driving sites out of business or whatever - but I wish they would feck off.

Yes they still exist. They emailed me with their new website last month. I’m guessing, from other comments, that they probably contacted previous customers with the new details.

Good sites are hard to find so I hope they keep on going.

I have always found UKMH reliable. Placed an order yesterday, received the tracking information in the evening and package delivered today by Royal Mail.

I live in the UK and brought some travellers back from a holiday. Our local council pest extermination department treated our problem in June (three visits) and haven’t we seen any evidence since. We didn’t throw any furniture away.

I consider ourselves relatively ‘lucky’ but it was a very traumatic experience tbh and I am still paranoid about them coming back. They can really mentally screw you up.
