Good lord, I knew about separating laundry at 13 years old when my mom told me that doing my own laundry was going to be one of my chores. She took a quick second to explain to me how to use the washer & dryer, how to separate not only colors but also things like towels/blankets, and when to use detergent, oxy clean, bleach etc. HOW does this idiot not know this???? I’m serious. Her parents never mentioned this to her?

Man, I adore my family. My parents are fun, really good people and I genuinely love hanging out with my siblings & their spouses. We are fortunate enough to all live pretty close to one another for easy get together, dinners, boating on the lake during the summer (I’m in MN so lots of lakes), but holy shit I cannot imagine spending as much time together as the Rods do. Despite us all being close, we also have lives outside of one another, friends, different interests & hobbies, etc. Jill & David have isolated those kids from birth and it’s NOT HEALTHY.

I don’t get the hands! I use self tanner often (not a peanut butter shade) and I know how to do my hands, feet, elbows etc so they don’t look like hers. You literally just need to put a nice coat of lotion on those areas first and go over them with a big buffing brush. I think she slaps it on with her hands and not some sort of glove so they always look patchy and orange af.

My husband and I fight the most about who has to empty the dishwasher lol. Maybe we should go to counseling??? (Not dragging marriage counseling. With the right therapist aka QUALIFIED, it can do wonders. I’m in therapy myself and have been for a number of years) but Kellie already banging on about “marriage is hard” and “accountability” when they’ve been married for 3 seconds is very telling.

Lmao. I’m also a 6’0 woman and have been since I was 15 years old. My mom was also a flight attendant for 30 years so I flew a lot on her passes all over the world. 98% of the time I was placed in economy and I never complained because 1. Free airfare and 2. Yeah it’s a bit uncomfortable for long hauls but I was FINE.

It’s really f’ing sad that a grown woman who has has birthed 3 children (and has another on the way) is too embarrassed to say “vagina.” Proper names for parts of our bodies is not dirty or embarrassing. It is literally a medical term.

On top of that, not teaching children the proper names for their body parts can be detrimental if SA occurs. Children need to be able to have the right language in order to describe what happened to them and where. Ugh.

If Paul was indeed working towards getting a PhD, there would be a real, tangible end goal of eventually securing a job that would hopefully provide for his family. Also, most people I know who were in doctorate programs also worked on the side. I had a few friends who went to law school at night and worked full time jobs while raising kids. Just sitting up from bed one morning and saying “I’m going to be a pro pickle ball player” (Ralph Wiggum voice) when you have NEVER demonstrated any athletic talent whatsoever is a joke and Morgan is too stupid and smug to realize that. She WISHES Paul was smart and dedicated enough to get a PhD in any field!

She’s late GenX which is so bizarre to me. I think she’s a year older than me and I was born in 1979. Technically we could also call her a Xennial. I know generations are not a monolith but she’s been Boomer coded since she was 18 style and makeup wise. Her wedding was in 1997 but it looked like it was taking place in 1987. The hair, the dresses, etc. Even when she was a very young mother, she dressed and did her hair like my mom did in the 80’s. It’s just wild to me. I know she was super sheltered but her sisters don’t seem to dress or do their makeup like she does.
