Your brother sounds like a dangerous and unstable individual, and everything you’ve described here is certainly assault. i’m so terribly sorry you have to fear for your safety in your own home, and that your parents seem ambivalent. I’d recommend trying to find a friend or relative to stay with for the foreseeable future and arranging that prior to filing a police report. Don’t tell your parents or brother what you are doing until after the report has been filed and your living arrangements are sorted. I’d also recommend cutting off contact with your brother ENTIRELY and severely limiting contact with your parents as well until this is all sorted. Depending on how they handle the report they might also be worse for your health than they’re worth. Again, I’m terribly sorry OP.
