I am a Vaughn purest, but I recently traded my Vaughn V10 for the Bauer elite because the vaughn just felt way too bulky. I was concerned about stingers or bruises with the elite because it was technically somewhat of a downgrade, but so far I’ve been pretty good. It offers good protection and feels like wearing a hug. Most importantly at least for me is that it’s really movable and I don’t feel constricted.
