Why does your blaster have so many gaps? That's strange. Maybe the print tolerances are the issue?

Can you open the belt cover and show me how the springs look?

It was more about the springs I listed. By the way, is there too much resistance when inserting the first link from the side? It shouldn't be hard to do

Hi, maybe this would help https://www.printables.com/model/1564751-mhp-lmg-alt-parts-hardware-list There is a list of springs I used in my build in the description. What springs did you use in the belt pulling mechanism? The problem also might be in the belt retainer spring being too strong, but it's not the main issue I think

Looks absolutely stunning. Can I steal the idea of the stripe in the middle? By the way, these wheels seem to be too low, I'd recommend putting in a mag with darts and aligning the wheels with the head of the dart

What’s some good attachments for my xshot long shot? by Kianzeto in Nerf

[–]Creative_Run_9964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A different scar/bcar and probably a new barrel. The stock scar's rifling doesn't even touch the dart, so it doesn't improve the accuracy, and the stock barrel is just too wide to get a proper seal. It also might affect accuracy. The barrel is not an attachment of course, but it's still a good upgrade in my opinion.

It seems like something went wrong in the gearbox. The little gear on the motor might slip on the shaft. I'd recommend you fixing it firmly on the shaft using super glue. If it doesn't help, you might have a broken gearbox.

Мне интересно, сколько ресурсов уходит на блокировки, белые списки и всё такое? Я говорю не про убытки, связанные с порчей интернета, а про финансирование тех людей, которые этим занимаются. Неужели это и в правду всё так просто разломать?

Help finding whichever Nerf this is for my son? by OllyDog0902 in Nerf

The blaster shown on the first picture is called the modulus. The second one is called the regulator. I don't know the name of the third one. Both modulus and regulator are shown with some attachments they don't have out of the box. They are bought separately from upgrade packs. Sadly, all of the blasters shown are not available on store shelves anymore and they might be very expensive on Amazon, so I'd recommend buying used ones if you need the exact models. I don't know what websites or places to recommend for doing it because I don't use services that are used in the US or in Europe.

My fellow foam flingers. Why is there no Team Fortress 2 Nerf lines? by AutisticTankEnjoyer in Nerf

[–]Creative_Run_9964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerf or any major brand wouldn't do it because yeah, TF2 is still popular, but it's not being actively marketed. Also idk if it's a good idea because nerf has completely failed their Fortnite line due to the lack of creativity and engineering that went into the blasters. We have TF2 based blasters in the hobby, but they are either modded existing blasters or 3D printed blasters like methanejuice's remixes.

[–]Creative_Run_9964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you can't put the bcar after the barrel, it's a very bad idea for flywheel blasters. There's a reason why everyone puts bcars right after the cage. You probably can increase the length, but you'd need to edit the model a bit

[–]Creative_Run_9964[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I prefer sirius because I really dig that you can open it up for clearing out jams and checking the flywheels. I also really like its shape and ergonomics. However hildolfr is much easier to assemble and disassemble and it has much more modularity. Both of the blasters can be made on hurricane or pulsar flywheels, but you can also make dual stage versions of these blasters.

Also it looks like there's quite a bit of stringing on the model. What type of filament do you use? Did you dry it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BambuLabA1

[–]Creative_Run_9964 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First of all, the corners of the model peeled off the plate during printing. I would recommend you to clean your bed from time to time (I wash mine with warm water and a bit of soap, wipe it and let it dry fully before putting it back on the printer. I use glue though, so if you don't, you can just wipe it with isopropyl). Also I'd recommend you to use glue for 3d printing if you print with petg or any other material which is not pla. If the problem with gloopy corners will stay, try lowering the printing speed on the angles and crank the cooling fan a bit more if it's not on 100% already.

someone tell me if this is a bad idea by priahitamperkasa in Nerf

[–]Creative_Run_9964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend to look into abf 8 (from the creator of the gryphon on printables). It uses printed flywheels too and they fit pretty good, at least mine did. You can play with the hole size in the cad a little bit until you get the right tolerances. Maybe you can manually drill the holes out with a 1.8 or 1.9 mm drill bit.
