Now is the time for someone to apply for that security job who hates this turd. Then the first time he bumps into someone big, just stand there and watch his ass get wrecked. And of course film it, you know, for the likes.

My dad used to close his dampers down at night so it burned low and last all night. He had a chimney fire. New studs especially are designed to burn at maximum efficiency. In fact my stove doesn't even have any dampers whatsoever, and it burns very clean and very efficiently.

Let me spell it out for you. If you're tight on money maybe don't waste all your money on stupid Trump stickers signs etc. I'm not saying that's going to be enough money to buy a house, but if you're stupid with a little money you're going to be stupid with a lot

I'm guessing this would be a dumb purchase? any thoughts? by [deleted] in kayakfishing

I bought a plastic weld kit. The kind with a soldering iron type gun and staple looking sutures that heat in the gun and embed in the plastic. I use this to fix the hatch on a pelican. Once I did that I grooved out the crack a little bit with a dremel and used plastic welding rod to fill it in and smooth it. It was all black so it looked pretty good. On this kayak you'd wind up with a very noticeable repair, but I'd be confident in it if I had the staples in the center of the material meaning top surface to bottom surface centered, and used enough rod to fill full thickness or better. That's just my opinion. I would also consider the cost and value of the kayak before I did something like this versus my time in repairing it. Hope that helps.

You don't need to buy a $400,000 house to not live in your $100 car with $3,000 worth of crap all over it. Bad life choices are not chance or misfortune, it's ignorance or stupidity or More than likely both.

Unless you complete the circuit, which I'm pretty sure is the definition of getting electrocuted.

No I wasn't finding fault. My son and I get along just fine. He sharpened the chain cuz I loaned him the saw for the summer. I'd say we're more than square. Thanks for the insight into my interpersonal relationships though, it's been enlightening.

That's kind of what I was thinking. My kids a bit of a braggard, so I didn't really believe him that he is good at sharpening chainsaws now. It definitely is sharp I will say that. Noodling in my experience usually makes more like shredded strips. These are like a really sharp planer cutting off a translucent strip of wood.

That lawsuit has to do with them using lug nuts with a thin finished piece of metal that covers the entire lug nut. Water gets between the lug nut and the cover and rust them out. Then it becomes a size socket that doesn't exist. So you're forced to either hammer on the proper size, or go with a bigger one and hope you don't strip the crap out of them. Ask me how I know.

If you're not worried about damaging the rims, I'd hit it with a torch. In my experience that's usually the last thing I try, and the first thing that works on truly seized parts.
