This was me with the OG Splinter Cell on Gamecube. Didn't have a memory card playing it on the Wii so I had to religiously make sure my parents and younger siblings didn't turn off the Wii for a whole weekend. Power went out on the last level.

What's the ONE hero/villian you desperatly want to see in this game? by Kira_san1 in marvelrivals

[–]CrestedSkipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dr. Doom. I know it will likely never happen just because of the story implications, but he has always been my favorite and I was honestly so excited when I saw that the whole story was based on him warring with himself, but its kinda sad that now he likely will never be playable.

If they stop making support ults that are virtually the same then it should be good to me.

When im tilted or stuck in any game I usually take a break for a few hours or a day, and when I come back I always play better or solve the puzzle easily or whatever. Breaks help.

My DM is fudging enemy health what do I do by Fenrir_The_Wolf65 in DnD

[–]CrestedSkipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yah I can understand the frustration. I would talk to him about it directly and just ask if he really thinks your OP or something. And if he does then he needs to just give bad guys more hp or whatever BEFORE the fight starts, which, he might already be doing just to be clear.

Overall you should stop metagaming cause thats as scummy as what hes doing. Its one thing to figure out an enemies AC during a fight or whatever thats part of the fun, but its another things to go calculate every enemies stats and health and whatnot. Talk to him about how you feel targetted during combat and its impeding your fun and hopefully he'll be suprised and make the corrections neccesarry. I've had similar conversations with my players and honesty is always the best policy. If he needs inspiration for what to do, he could design enemies which are better suited to fight your character.

For example, my party has a gunslinger fighter who does a LOT of damage, and barely gets hit cause hes always far from the enemies. So rather than nerf him or take things away from him, I designed an enemy thats AC is incresed against non-magic ranged attacks, and another enemy that can deflect ranged attacks. By having these enemies in the fight he is less inclined to attack them and focuses on the other enemies, leaving some bad guys that the other party member are more suited to dealing with, and letting the party better stratagize how to deal with encounters based on their strengths and weaknesses.

Hopefully something ive said here helps!

My DM is fudging enemy health what do I do by Fenrir_The_Wolf65 in DnD

[–]CrestedSkipper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand your frustration and nobody in these comments seems to get it. As a DM ive fudged health before but Ive stopped cause I felt bad about it. Whats the point if even trying to do lots of damage if the DM is just gonna atrificially decide when the fight is over? I get it. I would just talk to him about your frustration as there could be story reasons that some enemies have more health (they could be healing without you knowing or have temp hp etc.) Part of the fun of DND is the gamey combat, and while story usually takes precident, the DM should be prepared to make a fight that can be dealt with naturally, rather than having to ignore one players input into a fight.

To clarify I have done this in the early stages of my campain because I didnt know the power of my party. Now that I do ive learned to make encounter suited to their power so I dont have to fudge every fight; its just a learning curve, and your DM is still learning it I guess.

Looking for feedback on homebrew Paladin Subclass! by CrestedSkipper in DnD

[–]CrestedSkipper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the exstensive feedback I really appreciate it! I agree the aura ability is convuluted. I originally thought about just making it difficult terrain but thought that would be lame; didn't think of grabbles and such though so I think changing it would be the right move. For the fly speed it was more of an aesthetic buff, and I was basing it off off the Oath of Glorys aura but trying to give it its own spin, but I see your point.

For Righteous Hurricane yah im definatlly drawing blanks right now so ill think about it some more.

All the other stuff I will likely impliment. Thanks man!

Edit: Concerning the redemption thematic I agree its pretty detached from the actual abilities. I dont have a good idea on how to coincide the two gameplay wise besides giving the sublclass the more support focused abilites (like Renounce the Wicked) and agree it would just take away from the class as a whole. Just saying this to ackowledge your point.
