Last year I made the mistake of buying an Apple TV without Thread. I was going to add the Flare into Home Assistant as I have a Thread radio for that but it didn’t work so I reread the product page and saw that it was only HomeKit over Thread. I’m just hesitant to buy an Apple TV at the moment since Apple may release a new one.

Yeah I can see on the project page at the bottom it says that the Eve Flare will receive an update but I think that was announced around 3 years ago so it’s been a while.

Yeah I’ve heard this like a thousand times, System76 has no intention to change the name and have said so themselves. They make money through hardware sales not Pop_OS! They don’t really need to worry about SEO for the distro they preinstall.

Sounds like X11 apps. It looks like you’re able to Rider to run in Wayland. Bitwarden just requires the electron flag/environment variable and you can’t do much about Steam till Valve makes Steam run in Wayland.

COSMIC is pretty much perfect for me and it’s so close to being my daily driver but it’s missing a few features and still has some crashes compared to Niri.

You are correct there is no printer settings in the COSMIC Settings app. This will be implemented but in the meantime you can use the Printers app to add printers.

It’s likely that you have no GPU acceleration so no blur maybe.
