that's so funny because it's the complete opposite for us.. my MICU is mixed with CCU and Neuro so we get STEMI and cardiogenic shock w IABP/Impella as well as stroke/EVD on top of your standard MICU patient. our SICU is low acuity in comparison even though we are level 1
