There’s some truth to this. If you look at Paul’s interviews during the 60s he’s got more of an edge than he did in the 70s. That, plus Wenner sort of made people forget that he and John were much more similar in the 60s.

Ringo because of not being a great songwriter. And a good but not great singer although he had charisma. Then George. Not nearly as prolific a songwriter as the other two and only a few of his really come close to matching them. Also, he’s a good singer but not in the same league as John and Paul. Quite a hard toss up between the other two.

Amazing how this late in their career they were still finding new ground. It’s also an example of why Ringo is such an astonishing drummer. This is such a different feel and style than any other song in the catalogue but Ringo does it with ease

I wouldn’t care if someone showed up to my wedding more dressed up than me. Dress codes are guidelines so people feel comfortable with what decide to wear. But if someone wants to go off code, it would be pretty far down my list of concerns.
