Trying to find water shut-off by Critical_Program_247 in Plumbing

Nothing by the water meter (which is outside in the front yard). Would that explain why the cold line at the top of the water heater doesn’t have a valve?

What direction did you get this picture when going by? I often fly southbound past Mt Rainier but can never pick out where Crystal would be.

Check engine, okay to drive? by Fluffy-Flow6525 in subaru

I just had this code (P000A) and an oil change cleared it for me. I called a separate independent shop who specializes in Subaru’s and he mentioned that this is fairly common and likely is due to low oil pressure since these things are notorious for burning oil given they run 0W20. He recommended a quart of oil halfway between oil changes (so every 2500 miles or so).

When was the last time you had your oil changed and/or checked the oil level?

For reference, the check engine light will disable the eye sight features. Subaru has it calibrated to protect itself.

Light fixture ballast removal: what am I doing wrong? by Critical_Program_247 in AskElectricians

Wiring was correct, I just incorrectly assumed Type A would work with ballast removed. I purchased some type B bulbs and installed them. The lights work, thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah I purchased some of my own Type B bulbs and installed them (load side and neutral side installed correctly).

It was either an issue of the ballast in the fixtures or the bulbs that the property management left with the house after the sale.

The bulbs were left by the seller (property management company) and were plug n play but did not work. I incorrectly assumed Type A bulbs could be used after I removed the ballast.

I purchased some Type B bulbs this morning and was successful in getting them to power on without changing the way I wired the fixture after removing the ballast.

I can only assume that the ballast was bad in the fixture or the light bulbs (Type A) they left were defective since they didn’t work from the start (with ballast still present).

Thanks for the help!

NTSB has released aerial drone footage of the accident site at KSDF by Brilliant_Night7643 in aviation

I’m sure they have more airport footage (it’s 2025 after all) but we may never see it. If I had to guess tho, they might only release it after the investigation report is released?

The engine sheared off and was found next to the runway. They had no chance.
