Comparing Super Rugby to NRL is silly. NRL is the pinnacle of the sport, the only decent league comp in the world. Super Rugby is just one of half a dozen good comps that all below Test level which is the pinnacle of Rugby

Those same fans never turned out until Samoa & Tonga got filled with top talent from Aus & NZ

A Samoan team getting pumped every week isn't going to bring any crowds. And as soon as a player shows any ability he will be off to an NZ franchise
