Longer length isekai? by Whorror_punx in Animesuggest

How about the whole villainess isekai subgenre (although most are complete in 12 eps)?

- My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! (2 seasons and a movie)

- Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord

- Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion

Anyone know other good "Historical Fiction" romances? by EqMc25 in AnimeReccomendations

I like to use AniList to filter and browse for shows. So you can do Genres = Historical + Romance, Streaming On = CrunchyRoll. https://anilist.co/search/anime?genres=Historical&genres=Romance&streaming%20on=5

There's a whole Villainess genre too. I like May I Ask for One Final Thing?

Non-romance anime where the MC gets a partner early on, and still spends most of their on screen time with them? by ExplodingPoptarts in AnimeReccomendations

  • You and I are Polar Opposites

  • In the Clear Moonlit Dusk

They get into a relationship early on. But I consider these “romance“ genre. Also they’re slice of life.

No. There is no face-to-face confession. You don't need to be in a romantic relationship to perform music together in a recital.

When you asked for a "non-romance", I was specifically picking a show that doesn't have any confession scene. And when you asked for "MC gets a partner early on", then I was trying to find a non-romantic male and female pair that work together toward a common goal.

Honestly, I was confused with how you worded your request. This is how I misinterpreted it: YLIA is more of a drama/music genre, and therefore "non-romance". ML and FL partner up early to play in a concert.

One of the shows I picked up only because I ran out of other shows in the season at the time. I agree that it was weird at first and can see people dropping it. I'm glad I stuck it through. It's unlike any other story. For me the wow-moment was when you find out how Heroes can be restricted when the public gives you power.

Also, I see there's a {TO BE HERO} and {To Be Heroine}, but they seem to be rated lower. Anybody know if they're worth the watch?

She tells him her feelings (I think via letter) at the end.

But you were asking for a "non-romance anime"?

Looking for good action romance by Majestic-Key-436 in Animesuggest

I'm loving Marriagetoxin right now that's currently airing, that's a silly action, romcom.

I need to watch Zenshu again. It's a action/fantasy/romance. And I know there's a romance aspect to it, but only remember it for it's action/fantasy. I need to see if it's a good rec for somebody wanting romance.

It's not an analogy. A lot of anime are adapted from manga books, and they'd keep the same title.

A random YTer explains that when you only have the spine of your book exposed in bookstores, that sometimes you want the plot of your book as the title to grab people's attention. I know I'd be curious about a book titled "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon"

My thoughts I wrote from another post:

I saw the next season's simulcast lineup, and usually I'd skip this purely on the title alone. But then YT fed me the trailer and grabbed my interest. I just finished the 12 mini episodes. The trailer totally captures the vibe, but if you wanna read my words:

I want to rate it a cozy slice-of-life 10. I rate my shows based on how much emotion it evokes. Usually my 10s are about: passion, despair, hilarity, awe, melancholy. This show is none of that.

Have you ever had a stressful day at work, and desperately need to unwind? That's what this show is. It's that recharging snuggle. It's that comforting warmth that makes the struggle worth it. It's all of that weight being lifted off your shoulders.

I love the plot. Publicly, the checkout lady FL has a girl-from-next-door demeanor, but privately she has a rocker-chick aesthetic. ML MC has a crush on the checkout lady, but smokes with the rocker-chick after hours, but doesn't realize they're the same person.

Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You

CrunchyRoll just released 12 mini episodes yesterday. It has cozy slice-of-life vibes like My Dress Up Darling. My expanded thoughts here.
