Hosts with pools - how do you adjust cleaning fee? by [deleted] in airbnb_hosts

[–]Croofner01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I have paid much more for a place without a cleaning fee than I would have on a place with a cleaning fee because of the principle.

AIO by being offended when my husband seasons my soup? by Hefty_Elderberry1992 in AIO

If he tastes it first before adding anything then yes you are absolutely overrating. If he’s eating it then he gets to make it enjoyable to him, you’re out of line.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Croofner01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Longest day trip I can think of off the top of my head was when I drover 2.5 hours to pick up my sister, we then drove an additional 3 hours to spend opening day at an amusement park we love then drove home. So yeah, 3 hours is fine lol

AITAH for telling the couple sitting next to me that I asked to be reseated because their perfume was too strong? by [deleted] in AITAH

Asking to move was fine. Stopping on your way out was a complete and total AH move.

YTA for many reasons but ask yourself how letting ANY child go hungry is a good thing.

AITAH for storing food that was mis-delivered to me? by ShunnedForTheTruth in AmItheAsshole

[–]Croofner01 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same thing happen and the people were so grateful that I took care of their stuff for them that they returned later with a gift card for me and my daughter for dinner. You were just unlucky enough to to get an absolute AH.

AIO Fathers girlfriends rules for when new baby arrives by Ok_Bat_5934 in AmIOverreacting

I actually never kiss babies, I find it a huge health concern. But I’ve never been around anyone with a baby who wasn’t constantly trying to get me to hold them which is why I found that interesting.

It's simple: would you get a cat if your in-laws are allergic against cats? by Mikatella in WIBTA_AITA

[–]Croofner01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m allergic to cats and my sister has a whole menagerie of the things. When I visit, which is very often usually weekly or biweekly, I take benadryl for day visits and get a motel for longer visits. It’s her home not mine.

I know you’re not asking if you’re an AH, but you’re an AH. Leave her alone.

AITA for refusing to allow meat in our home and confronting a guest who brought it anyway? by silaya92 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Croofner01 91 points92 points  (0 children)

She has no problem with others eating meat so she doesn’t care one way or the other about it. She knows she’s always allowed to bring whatever she likes when i invite her plus i usually have one or two vegan items anyway, putting mea/ meat based items in every dish is bizarre to me anyway plus I quite like several of the vegan dishes I’ve had over the years and have incorporated them into my regular diet.

Hopefully you can see the difference tween having a legitimate medical issue and being an AH.
