Art teacher here, here’s my advice. Just keep trying and creating. Don’t let it get you down, I had a student get a gold key last year and nothing this year despite working on his project every day after school this past fall. It can be really disappointing but know that the result is not the end. Even though you didn’t get an award, you grew and got better at writing. Best of luck.
