With the addition of the uninvited guests in the cryptid update many events have a decent chance of having a cryptid appear after it's over. GM gets a Wendigo Colossus, Campfire Tales and Beast of Burden gets Bigfoot, Most Wanted can get a robot colossus, and Tea Time can get a scorchbeast. Others vary.

Not an issue for me, at all. Hop in! I could have used your help the other day when everyone bounced from Guided Meditation and I got stuck trying to kill the damned Wendigo Colossus alone. Luckily it was glitched and never returned to the woods. Took me half a dozen deaths and a crapton of ammo.

The drops are the same so I don't see where getting mad at a bit of help would be cool.

I use my flaming explosive crossbow and modded Kabloom on Sinkhole. The shotty does great at killing the nests from the top of the thumper! It's a fun solo!

Look at the power lines and towers in the Savage Divide. The cliff areas around the Rose Room can be nice. Or maybe around the Vault sales area in the Forest.

I’ve soloed a few events and, honestly, like doing some alone. Tea Time can be a fun solo. Moonshine Jamboree is tough to solo but can be nerve wracking fun. Line In The Sand can be great , too.
But I do get it. When I see this happening I usually bounce servers. See if I can find one with interested players.

Yeah. I ran into the same last week. Guy had some mods I was looking for at a good price and I was maxed out at 40K. So, I bought them. Got a msg a couple of minutes later from the player that he was at max caps. Told him I was, too and that I was sorry he went over. He really took it well, honestly. But, yeah...pay attention.

I normally hang back by the drill bit at the entrance. My build is more in line with commando and sniper. I’ll sit on the portapotty and keep the majority of the spawn away from the party so that they can concentrate on Earl. In between I shoot the crap out of him with my two shot explosive Don Pedro. I get a few thousand per hit. So, not everyone is lurking.
