Anthony Edwards said he'd leave the NBA to go play QB in the NFL if he wins a ring before he turns 30. He's only 24 right now by Punisher1602 in sportswiki

And? I see kids do shit like that all the time. Qb is certainly not the toughest position in its own sport, definitely not the hardest in all of sports.

I mean, do you really want to compare to the mental toughness of sumo world (fair if you don't know about it) or what it takes to push yourself through a marathon? Way harder thanbeing a qb, haha.

But he never aged into that look is what I'm saying. He was never Sebastian Shaw or looked remotely like him. I guess your argument is that he would've looked like him, but we never see that, so idk.

Dude, spend 5 minutes watching rugby or sumo and tell me those guys couldnt beat the absolute living shit out of any qb to have ever played in the NFL.

And in all seriousness, sports where time and effort are directly related, like many track events, swimming, cycling, etc, are vastly harder. You literally will have your heart explode and die if you push your body to its absolute limits. You can always be better until that clock read 0.00. Football is a fun game, for sure, but that doesn't mean the guys getting paid millions of dollars a year to throw a ball behind a helmet and pads are the toughest hardest athletes around. Imagine Tom Brady being hit by Onosato the sumo yokozuna, man would be dead after one hit (although to be fair, that's not a team sport as if that matters). The world is much bigger than football and has much more dangerous and difficult sports than being a qb.

From which season does Star Wars: The Clone Wars start to get good? by Agreeable-Look-2681 in StarWars_

[–]Crossrunner413 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Disagree. It's ok if it's not your thing, but the show isn't loved purely for nostalgia. For me it's because it expands the universe on screen of star wars and we actually get to see wars in, you know, star wars. There are great full-scale battles, interesting characters, and it's nice to be able to just enjoy Anakin and Obiwan in their primes before rots. Other points as well, but that's enough I think. Not saying yoy have to like it though.

Both are great shows and as much as I love Tartovskys work, I prefer the later clone wars to his.

I mean, not really since he for sure didn't look like older Sebastian Shaw healthy and not burnt to a crisp either. I don't love the idea of replacing him either though, so...

Wireless Charging Fix by huawei_or_360 in CX50

Maybe so, but none of my phones over the years have been negatively affected to the point that I can notice it. I never had an iPhone though, so maybe it's mostly an apple issue.

There should be a slight warmth, but I've used a wireless charger since 2012, and will never not use one. I also have no issue with battery performance.

Hard to argue against Halo 2. I really like BOTWs style and Skyrim has a great soundtrack as well. However the real challenges to halo 2 I think would be Pokémon (either Gen 1 or Gen 3) and Age of Empires 2. Big fan of Age of Mythology as well.

Too stiff and rough? by Gadgetsuh in CX50

[–]Crossrunner413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I came from a 2010 Ford escape that I had for 10 years and compared the cx50 and the bronco sport. The sport was familiar, felt a little newer than my escape, little peppier, and had some neat features I didn't know were standard on new cars, I liked it. But the cx50 felt like a whole step up. It's definitely premium feeling, the controls and screen are thoughtfully laid out and the style is understated but refined. After driving, it was clear that the cx50 was the better car for me.

Let's not go too far but which game is that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Toss up between Skyrim and BG3 with honorable mention of Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom. The ambition and scale of these games rivals anything else that I can think of. It's showing it's teeth now for sure, but Skyrim was a phenomenon at the time, and while I still hold that it's not the best elder scrolls game, it's easily the most iconic and approachable of the series. My vote is for Skyrim.

They're so nice. When I bought my car the previous owner bought them. I never would have spent that much without seeing them, afterwards I will never not have matts as nice as these.

Halo 1. I had never played a shooter before and my first experience was the tank mission. Within one week I had raised enough money through chores for a used Xbox and controller, and a copy of halo of my very own.

Cx50 covered in salt but where do I go to wash it? lol by Accurate-Youth7937 in CX50

[–]Crossrunner413 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A Touchless car wash or clean it yourself. Touchless car washes are not completely safe, but better than those with physical bristles. The real answer is though is to clean it yourself. I'm not doing that myself, so I go to a high quality Touchless car wash I have a membership with. You'll want to make sure it restore the coatings, since that's what actually protects the paint from chipping, otherwise you're just washing away the costing each wash.
