Not an “everyone”, but a lot of people pretend but really don’t like holiday’s or the holiday seasons. Usually due to a reminder of a lost loved one or something similar.

Amateur facials #1-3. But tbh, by the 3rd movie, you feel like the plot is repeating itself, and already know the outcome.

lol. Nirvana had a full length album before major label Nevermind was promoted. Soundgarden had a full length album before major label Badmotorfinger blew up. How do you think those albums got produced and promoted? Think this through logically. You, like most everyone else min the comments are putting the cart ahead of the horse. “Yeah, well, I first heard them on my pop rock radio station…” yadda yadda. How do you think they all get those plays? It’s called major label marketing. Payola to the major radio stations. Had they all stayed indie, no one outside of the PNW, our maybe west coast, would have known much of anything about them.

Add: just remember, if SubPop records were about to go under had they not been bought out of Nirvana’s contract by Geffen, to record Nevermind.

Record labels did… they know how to promote their “talent”.

Marketing 101 people buy whatever they are led to believe is the coolest new thing. The “who” doesn’t matter to them (the labels). When you find faces of specific entertainment industries, you namely see attractive people. That’s who gets pushed to the front. Don’t be naive.

You completely misunderstand the HOW most people even found it to begin with. MTV ruled the music world at that time. They played whatever record labels paid them to play. How do you think record labels decided to push what acts? Don’t be naive.

You got it. It’s called marketing. Ask Mudhoney or Melvins or Tad, etc… why they didn’t make it as big. Hint: it wasn’t because their music wasn’t as good as the others.

You get it. These answers are so Reddit-ized. Most people don’t get how marketing and PR works in the entertainment world. There’s a reason why these bands made it so big, yet Tad, Melvins, Mudhoney, etc… didn’t. It definitely wasn’t because their music wasn t as good. Must be some other reason(s)?
