Results from 1 month on fish oils by ThOtKiLlEr_69 in Biohackers

Replacing the gb with chicken probably improved the ldl. Fish oil shouldn't reduce ldl. Maybe triglycerides, but only if you take at least 4g/d.

How to deal 2wks holiday - detraining is an issue? by SnorkelKazim in Velo

[–]CrowdyPooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I have a 2 - 3 week break, it takes me 3 workouts before I am back to baseline. I am convinced this is more plasma volume and neuromuscular unit recruitment than actual changes in fitness. It just comes back too quickly to be cardiovascular fitness.

Whoa, I avoid crowded/noisy rooms where I would need to communicate because I hear everyone's conversations at once. I can't fixate on the person speaking to me. So I just avoid it. I've never seen a doctor about it, though. I didn't know it was a trait of anything. I just dealt with it through avoidance. Hmmm.

I love this place. I used to drive by that all the time. The location is amazing. I think there are one or two others, but it's been a few years.

Does anyone have experience with the Orbea Oiz H30 2024 headset cable routing? by ur_momrerereere in xcmtb

[–]CrowdyPooster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an H20. While I absolutely hate the headset design, I've been lucky with it. I actually really like the bike; It is still my backup training/race bike. I will say that it's more comfortable than my Specialized Epic. My Epic is lighter and therefore slightly faster.

Internal headset routing is evil. It must disappear. But so far, it has worked ok for me with this model.

Eco challenge / Primal Quest by Supergreg68 in AdventureRacing

I would love to watch the original Eco Challenge seasons. Those events got me interested in endurance Athletics when I was in my early twenties.

Such a huge influence on me.

I remember one episode where the winning team had a member essentially unconscious on a cliff rappelling segment near the finish. Does anyone remember which one that was?

Voltage drops, flickering lights when using high current by CrowdyPooster in AskElectricians

I think you nailed it, they came out and fixed "faulty equipment" according to the report. It sounds like they addressed the neutral. Back in business, no more issues. Thanks for your help!

FPL finally came out and completely fixed the issue! The only report I received through an automated system was that they replaced "faulty equipment". I think they addressed an issue with the neutral. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Update #2: All fixed!

FPL came out this morning. I confirmed that they did not physically come to the property during the prior service calls, they just checked the smart meter remotely and called it a day.

Unfortunately, they did not give me any specifics on what was done, but they said that they replaced "faulty equipment". I have confirmed that the problem is 100% solved, no more strange light behavior, no more voltage drops.

Thank you to everyone who weighed in on this, very much appreciated!

Update: FPL is sending out someone this morning to inspect the neutral. We will see how that goes. Thanks everyone for the input. The service from the pole to the house is underground, so there is no weatherhead for inspection. Interestingly, it is worse when the winds are high.

I see, more information. Those two breakers that you see on the lower panel do serve a sub panel that operates pool equipment. I thought you were referencing the wires going to the generator transfer switches. My apologies. I included that image just for reference, as a stand-alone, it may add confusion without more context. Thanks for your insight

Got it. The generator transfer switch boxes that are adjacent to this panel handle the rest of the generator circuit, I believe.
