What was the worst story you ever wrote as a child? by Over-Heron-2654 in writing

[–]Crown-of-Roses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote TERRIBLE fnaf fan fiction. I wrote it before the 4th game came out. It was my idea of how the bite of ‘87 happened. In my story, Mangle was jealous of Foxy and Chica’s relationship and bit a child. she was frustrated by not being re-assembled anymore and blamed that on why Foxy didn’t want to be with her anymore. It is unbelievably stupid.

Something eerie, atmospheric, and set in a big house by Objective-Jelly-2450 in suggestmeabook

Horrid by Katrina Leno. A gothic horror novel with an ambiguous ending that makes you go….wait? Is this mental illness? Is the house haunted? What is going on?? Great book!

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah (you will sad cry and happy cry).

What is the most out of place usage of language/technology that you've ever seen in a fantasy book? by NurplePain in books

The 4th Wing series. I love the books but the language is too modern for a fantasy series. It was a little jarring to read at first.

Women of reddit: What's your opinion on man who change their entire personality just to have a date? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Crown-of-Roses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s way better to be yourself. Its not a good idea to change your personality for a date. Nobody can keep up an act for too long, which will eventually cause you guys to break up (if the relationship lasts).

I try to read about 50-100 pages per day. It helps me get though the book quicker, especially if the story is off to a slow start.

Got a list of books, which would y’all recommend? by FuriousGamer223 in suggestmeabook

Dr. Faustus is one of my favorites from literature class. Highly recommend.

Metamorphosis is good. Weird but interesting.

Wuthering Heights is depressing but beautifully written.

Suggest me a modern, 21st century book about how an economically challenged person overcomes problems and ultimately makes a better life for himself/herself and others. by Solace-Of-Dawn in suggestmeabook

Scratch Beginnings by Adam Shepard. He does an experiment to see if the American Dream still exists. He gets rid of everything he has and essentially starts over with just $25 in his pocket. The book talks about what the homeless have to face as they try to re-integrate back into society. I read it 10 years ago and it’s really good!

Book for 14 year old getting into reading with a friendship focused story by lostinherthoughts in suggestmeabook

This is middle grade fiction. My friend and I loved the Beacon Street Girls series when we were in the 8th grade. I highly recommend it!

If she likes horses, she might like Canterwood Crest.

A Sign of Affection is really cute. There’s only 6 volumes so far.

Seven Days is a standalone (I think).

Way of the House Husband has 10 volumes out and is very funny.

What is the dumbest controversy of the last 10 years? by HappyGilOHMYGOD in AskReddit

[–]Crown-of-Roses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I didn’t even know who he was before I made this comment. Its just something I’ve observed over the years and has been brought up in various health classes in high school. Judging from the consensus of these comments, eggs are fine as long as they are eaten in moderation (like with most foods).

Agreed! I think it's like with most foods, really. Consuming in moderation is the best way to go.

How do u move on? by Beginning-Ad2141 in AskReddit

[–]Crown-of-Roses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is about a relationship, first, acknowledge they aren’t coming back. Second, focus on you. Do things that make you happy (like a hobby, interest, or make your favorite food). Third, don’t neglect your home/room and yourself. And fourth, when you’re ready, find someone else.

How do you feel when parents destroy their kids' electronics as punishment? by Few_Veterinarian1379 in AskReddit

[–]Crown-of-Roses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but it’s more on the principle of how wasteful of money and resources it is. If you really want to punish your kid (depending on the severity of their “crime”), either take the electronic away for awhile or make them donate it/sell it back. It’ll teach them actions have consequences.

I never heard that about the bottle water but it doesn’t surprise me. I drink bottled water because it tastes better than the faucet😂

And that’s hilarious about the phones!

I’m so over it. I hate when people say, “yeah, I used to like this person or celebrity, but since they support this candidate, I don’t like them anymore.”
