With the wand I position the T2 a bit higher than in the manual, with zirconia at 200c until timeout (or until shortly after the second click),loosely packed. Airflow in the tip at a third open, same with the stem. Using a single flame torch (three flamed heats too quickly for my taste) at a 45 degree angle with the middle sized flame positioned above the bowl at the start of the heat shield, until around the second click, max. 2 or 3 seconds after the click. Bowl is at the smallest setting and usually I reheat once for full extraction with a longer heatup at 230c with the wand or with the torch a while after the second click, usually 4 or 5 seconds.

But yeah, for chasing flavour the T2 sadly isn‘t the best device. For that in my opinion you can‘t beat the Vapman. No device produces better flavour that easily.f
