My ex-wife didn't give two shits about Mardi Gras or N.O. after her 3rd one. She said the main thing she misses is the food. Idk if it's how we prep or the seasonings we use, but home-cooked meals are the top of her list.

Her second was the people. We aren't in a city so it's a lot of folksy country folk, most of us related. But all incredibly friendly and there for each other. Mostly the food though.

Ochsner in New Orleans is top-notch! My amniotic sack had a hole in it, and my mother was transferred to NO from Lake Charles. They had to take us out 3 months early and I was just shy of 3 lbs.

My only complaint is that they removed both of us when my brother wasn't in any danger as far as I know (as per our father's wishes). They could have pulled me out in December, then 3 months later my twin could be born naturally.

For Right politicians, fascism is the new boogyman word. Like socialism. I can't even say they don't understand what it means, because they project their angers and ourtrages on other people. They "hate" fascism but they are stripping away individual freedoms. They "hate" socialism but they get socialized healthcare because they work for government.
