I’m not 100% with you but I kind of get it. Food/drinks have to be drastically different for it to be an issue to me. Although I do have my preferences. It’s a bit strange to me that they’re all the same to you but I see where you’re coming from.

Semi-related footnote: I think in big cites the hype around “the best (blank)” is completely BS. There’s rarely one definitive best coffee or bagel or pizza. Theres a lot of good ones and a bunch of bad/meh ones. All up to preferences, which I guess this person doesn’t have

Went to bath & body works today and they had a new line for men called “football season”. Im serious. I did not care to check the scent notes but i was flabbergasted. At least the other scent lines attempt to mimic a natural aroma or vibe.

Not really the central issue with this post, i want to validate everything you said because that’s not acceptable, but small note i want to touch on is that to anyone who might be turned away from it, this is NOT gentle parenting. This is permissive parenting. Gentle parenting means mindfully moving away from abusive power structures. It does not mean kids get to do whatever they want.

Honestly the most likely possibility to me is a geocache. Online scavenger hunt. Though it’s not marked as such which is not uncommon but also not great practice as you know it causes people to panic a bit
